A Pinot's love story
It was over a year ago that I visited Pinot's Palette for the first time. As I strolled by the store front of the Henderson studio I noticed the fun art they had displayed in the long span of windows. The pieces were interesting with a simplistic feel to them and I wondered what this place was. As I approached the doors I could see people laughing and I heard music in the background. As I looked closer I realized they all had canvases with partial painting on them. They were standing, wine glasses in hand, laughing, swaying to the music, roaming through the studio looking at the art that filled the walls. I was intrigued and wanted to know more about this place. I wanted to be part of the good time that was going on in there. The next time I vistited Henderson I stopped in to get information on a class and how it worked. That night I met Judy, the owner. She was so proud to share her studio and descibe how to participate and how much she loved being an owner of a Pinot's Palette studio. This sounded so fun. I couldnt wait for my next visit so I could give it a try. From the moment I arrived until the evening was over I felt a connection. I visited with the ladies sitting around me. I sipped wine and enjoyed the music all while painting my very first piece of art. I was so proud of myself. It must have been a combination of the company, the music and the beautiful colors streaked across the canvas, paired with a wine for dreamers. That night I realized that I was in love with Pinot's Palette.
