Tell A Nurse Happy Nurse's Day In A Personal WayToday, May 6, is National Nurse's Day. It is the kickoff of a weeklong celebration to recognize nurses for all the important things they do. Today we celebrate NURSES and the difference they make in someone else's life EVERYDAY!
Today I will celebrate a few nurses that are important to me and impact my life, today I will celebrate my daughter, and today I will celebrate my friends! I always try to do something cute (and Pinterest worthy) to show these lovely ladies that I love them and how much I admire what they do!
For the past couple of years, I have filled small decorated boxes with nurse survival items, like lifesavers, tissues, and band-aids. This year I wanted to give them something different, something personal. I wanted to give them something they might use and maybe remember I am thinking of them. So... I came up with the most brilliant idea, well Pinot's helped with that when they offered a paint your own wine glass class. I painted the cutest wine glass for each lady and you know you can't give a wine glass without wine to put in it, so I added a small bottle of Pink Moscato!! I couldn't find a gift bag that I was in love with, so I ended up decorating a box (photo storage box from Hobby Lobby) to put them both in. I know they will love it as much as I love them!
Cheers to all the Nurses that make a difference!
