Painting it Forward Community Event
Paint A Rock or A car on wood— San Bruno First Thursdays
Centennial Plaza comes alive! Join us Thursday, June 4th from 6–8 PM for a free community evening where every stone becomes a tiny work of art. Bugs, rainbows, monsters, or your pet rock's brand-new face — anything goes. Bring the little ones (and your imagination); all supplies are included and all ages are welcome.
While you paint, the plaza fills with music and community spirit. Catch live music on the Plaza Stage from The Unauthorized, a special performance by Hula Halau 'O Makalapua, and a Featured Artist spotlight on Belinda Carr (bcarr.art). It's a celebration of local creativity, local business, and the people who make San Bruno shine.

What is paint and sip?
Paint and sip events combine social drinking with painting. Our paint and sip studio offers beer, wine, and other non-alcoholic beverages. Everyone gets a canvas and follows an artist’s instructions to recreate the featured painting on their own canvas. Paint and sip is not a serious art course – it’s about socializing and having fun.

Do I need to know anything about art?
Not at all. Our artists provide easy, step-by-step instructions to help everyone produce a great finished product.

This is my first time. What should I expect?
Expect a relaxed, fun atmosphere – there’s no pressure to be Van Gogh! We provide everything, including aprons to protect your clothes and a paint-free space for your purse or coat.
