Join Pinot's Palette at The Gardener's Center of Darien for a unique experience for creative parent, grandparent, aunt/uncle or older sibling to do with the special children in their lives. Our artist will take you step-by-step through this super fun two-canvas painting with each of you completing one half of the image. Children will then break open their very own geode while the adults enjoy light refreshments and shop with their $10 store credit. The completed paintings can be hung together or apart.

This is a two person package. It includes all of the following for one adult and one child:
-Two canvases and all art materials
-Class taught by one of Pinot's professional artists
-Break-apart geode activity provided by The Gardener's Center
-Coupon for $10 off any $100 plant or product purchase
-Light refreshments

Register ONCE for both people (one adult, one child). A second child can be added for $25 - contact the studio to register additional children: stamford@pinotspalette.com or (475) 255-6116

This is not a drop-in event. Advanced registration is required, and all children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.

Frequently Asked Questions

Check out our FAQs to learn more about what to expect from your Pinot's Palette experience or feel free to call the studio to speak to a member of our staff.

  • Q) I don’t have any artistic talent? Will I be able to complete the painting?

Absolutely! Our artist will guide you step-by-step through the featured painting and will ensure that you stay on track to completing your masterpiece by the end of class. Nearly everyone is surprised at their inner Picasso! There are no mistakes, but Acrylic paint does dry quickly so we love to help you to adjust and perfect your work.

  • Q) How do I sign up for a class?

Signing up is easy. Click the "Classes" link on the side of the page to view our calendar of paintings. Select which painting you would like to paint and click "Add Painting to Cart." Follow the on-screen directions to complete the order. Contact us if you have trouble completing your order and we will walk you through the process.

  • Q) Where Do I Park?

We are located at 25 Harbor Point Road (between Bare Burger and Fortina’s). FREE PARKING is available at the rear of our building in the parking garage at 2200 Atlantic Street (easy access to the studio through the building lobby or door on lower level). Outdoor parking is availabe for FREE at the corner of Atlantic Street and Washington Boulevard. We are located a short walk or Harbor Point Trolley ride from the Stamford train station. http://www.harborpt.com/transportation/

  • Q) When do I need to arrive for class?

We recommend you arrive 15 minutes before class starts to allow time for you to get settled in and mingle before the painting starts.

  • Q) Can I bring wine? May I bring food?

Alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including specialty cocktails, craft mocktails, beer, gourmet coffee and wine by the glass or bottle, are available for purchase at our bar. We do not allow outside alcohol. A selection of snacks, including Sweet P Collosal Cookies, are available for purchase. We have also partnered with local restaurants to provide food and/or special occasion catering and cakes for groups and private parties (see https://www.pinotspalette.com/stamford/blog/wine-entertaining/catering-partners).
