First things first! This Saturday, the Arboretum of South Barrington is holding the Tree Lighting Festival! There will be a 7,200 sq. ft. ice skating rink, musical laser light show, giveaways a trolley and the tree lighting, among other festivities.

Navy Pier's annual indoor winter carnival is worth the drive. Dozens of rides includes a giant Ferris wheel and a toboggan tunnel, plus mini golf and ice skating. ZooLights is a beautiful winter tradition for families, friends and date nights. This year’s ZooLights events include educational zoo chats, live ice sculpture carving, carousel and train rides and musical light shows.
