Brown Like Me

Who says that mermaids can't be brown-skinned with thick locs? "Brown like me" was inspired by Disney's Little Mermaid (2003) that depicts the character in a very unconventional way; representing the beauty of African American audiences--showing people of color that their favorite heroes, idols, and figures can indeed be BROWN, just like they are!
