Wine Tasting 101 + A Night of Painting at Pinot’s Palette Brier Creek

Mark your calendars—Friday, August 29th is the night to swirl, sip, and paint at Pinot’s Palette Brier Creek! We’re turning the studio into a wine lover’s dream with a tasting of hand-selected wines from France, Spain, and Italy, plus a little cheese to complement the flavors. Whether you’re a seasoned wine enthusiast or just curious to learn more, this is your chance to enjoy an interactive (and delicious) experience while unleashing your inner artist.

We’ll have a selection of cheeses on hand to complement the wines—because no wine tasting is complete without a little nibbling between sips.
So grab your friends, your partner, or come solo for an evening of flavor, fun, and creativity. Spots will fill fast for this unique one-night event, so be sure to reserve your seat early.



***** THE WINEUP (wine line up) *****
We’ll be exploring three distinct wines:

Le Blanc du Cardinal Bordeaux Blanc (Sauvignon Blanc)
A crisp, fresh French white with bright citrus and floral notes.
Generous, lovely density and honey aspects. Peach flesh, some orange, some green apple. Mouthwatering, bright and clean. Really incredibly drinkable. Finish with a slight hint of orange and grapefruit, great balance of sapidity, acidity and fruit.
Snacks To Enjoy With It: Goat Cheese; Shrimp Cocktail; prosciutto-wrapped asparagus


El Lagar de Isilla “Roble” Tempranillo
A rich, smooth Spanish red with hints of berries, spice, and oak.
Intense and lively with a high intensity dark cherry red with garnet tones. Intense aromas of red fruit with vanilla, cinnamon and balsamic aromas. On the palate, it´s mouth filling, pleasant and savory. Fruits of the forest with a touch of well-integrated oak and balsamic herbal spices.
Snacks To Enjoy It With: Salty ham or salami ; Pizza; A smoky cheese like Smoked Provolone, Gruyere, or Brie


Moscato d’Asti
A lightly sparkling Italian sweet wine, perfect for a refreshing finish.
Moscato d'Asti is seductively sweet, boasting juicy stone fruit, tart citrus and floral honey flavors. It's fresh and fragrant.
Snacks To Pair It With: Fruit tarts (or other light pastries); Salted nuts or chips
