How do I sign up for a class?
Signing up is easy. From the Home Page scroll through the Upcoming Events or Select View Full Calendar. Select which painting you would like to paint and "click" the photo, Enter the quantity of seats and click "Add to Cart." Follow the on-screen directions to complete the order. Contact us if you have trouble completing your order and we will walk you through the process.
What days are classes held?
We always have classes on Thursday , Friday and Saturday as well as Open Studio during the day on Tuesday and Thursday. Occassionally we have classes on other days as well so be sure to check our calendar to find out more.
Is there reserved seating?
Yes, we set up everything you need for your class and preassign seats. If you have friends attending that you would like to sit with you can identify them when you book your class or you can send us an email. Be sure to give us 24 hours notice. Private parties do not have assigned seating.
What is the cancellation policy for regular classes for groups of 2 or less ?
A full refund is available 48 hours or more before class. 24 hours before class you are eligible to put the reservation on hold for a later date or to transfer your reservation to a new class.
What is the cancellation policy for a party of 3 or more?
For groups of 3 or more a minimum of 4 days is required for a refund or rescedule.
What is the cancellation policy for Specialty Classes such as Paint Your Pet or Paint Your House ?
If you need to cancel your class, the following terms and conditions apply. Your reservation can be moved to a future date at no additional cost. You may receive a full refund only if we have not already processed your proof at our Printer. (Requires at least 7 days notice.) If we have already processed your proof at the printer, you may elect to move to a future date and/or schedule to complete your pet canvas at one of our advertised open studios (Artist assist only) at no additional cost. No refund (all or partial) will be issued.
What is the inclement weather cancellation policy?
If winter weather causes us to cancel class, you will be fully refunded of your reservation, or have the option of transferring to another on the current calendar. If we remain open and you cancel your reservation due to driving conditions where you live, your reservation is transferable on a one time basis to another class on the current calendar. You must notify us at least 5 hours before class to take advantage of the transfer.**
What if I don't call or show up for class?
Loss of payment will occur if no notification of cancellation occurs prior to class.
What do I need to bring to class?
We've stocked the bar with wine , beer , cider and soft drinks, and provide the canvas, easel, brushes, paints, and apron for the class. All you need to bring are your friends and a 'have fun' attitude!
I have no artistic talent, I can't even draw stick people. Will I be able to complete the painting ?
Absolutely! Our artist will guide you step-by-step through the featured painting and will ensure that you stay on track to completing your masterpiece by the end of class. There are no mistakes only happy accidents. Acrylic paint dries quickly, making mistakes easy to fix and perfect.
When is next month's calendar posted ?
We try to post the next month's calendar around the 15th of the month. If you'd like to receive an email each month when our new calendar is posted, be sure to add yourself to our email list. We also post the week's painting as well as specials on our Facebook Page so be sure to connect to us.
What should I wear to class?
No dress code here...dress casual or dress up. We will provide you with an apron but painters have been known to get involved in their work of art . Once the paint dries on your clothes it's permanent so keep that in mind.
Can I bring Wine?
No outside beverages are allowed. We have a bar where you can purchase Beer, Wine, Cider and Soft drinks. Beer starts at $3 and Wine starts at $5 a glass and $15 a bottle.
Do you provide food?
We have a light snack mix but if you are interested in anything else feel free to bring your own food- cake, appetizers etc. We provide plates, napkins and plastic ware as well as counter space for food.
Is there an age restriction for public classes?
We do have kid’s specific classes, and our public classes have the following requirements: Age requirements: *Evening Classes: Our evening classes are designed to be enjoyed as an fun night out for adults. Please leave any children under the age of 13 home during our evening classes. Children 13-17 are welcome when accompanied by an adult. *Daytime Classes/Open House or Family Day: Children 7 and up are welcome at any of our daytime classes (starting before 3pm), and children of all ages are welcome at Open Studio or Family Day events with their parents.
Does Wine come with class?
Unless otherwise noted the only beverage that comes with class is complimentary bottled water. Some specialty classes such as Mimosas and Muffins come with a complementary Mimosa or non alcoholic beverage.
