Frequently Asked Questions

What are your studio office hours?

Studio office hours are 10-4 Wed through Fri and 10-2 on Sat.

How do I sign up for a class?

Signing up is easy. Go to website and tap "register now" on the upcoming event you are interested in or the calendar image on the day you plan to attend. Follow online instructions. Contact us if you have trouble completing your order and we will walk you through the process.

What days are classes held?

Classes are typically held on Wed, Thur, Fri and Sat evenings. We also hold at least one Family Fun Day a month on Sat or Sun morning or afternoon. Check calendar for specific dates.

When is your monthly calendar made public?

Our calendar generally posts online every second Tuesday. Join our email list and recieve a link each month to the new calendar.

What does a class cost?

2 hour classes cost $35 per painter. 3 hour classes cost $45 per painter. Family Fun Days are discounted to $25 per painter. Project Pet is $55 per painter.

When do I need to arrive for a class?

We recommend you arrive 30 minutes before class starts to allow time for you to get settled in and mingle before the painting starts.

Is there reserved seating?

Yes, we have your easel set up for you at your spot before you arrive for class. If you have friends attending the class that you’d like to sit by, you can let us know when you book the class or you can send us an email (…just make sure to give us at least 24 hours notice).

What should I wear to class?

No dress code here...dress casual or dress up. We will provide you with an apron but painters have been known to get involved in their work of art.

What do I need to bring to class?

We provide the canvas, easel, brushes, paints, and apron for the class. All you need to bring are any drinks and/or appetizers you might want during the class. We also provide the wine glasses, corkscrews, ice buckets & we have plates, napkins, and silverware.

Can I bring something other than wine to drink?

You can bring wine, beer, liquor. Also non-alcoholic beverages are welcome at Pinot's Palette. There will be a large ice bucket to put white wine in during the class. We do expect all painters to be responsible with alcohol on and off the premises.

Is there an age limit for the normal public sessions?

Yes, we are a BYOB art entertainment studio. We do have kid’s specific classes, but the normal public classes have the following requirements:13-17 with a parent. No one 12 and under admitted.

Are observers allowed?

Sorry, observers are not allowed in our regular paint sessions. Everyone pays and everyone paints. The exception is Family Fun Day. Parents may share a canvas with kids or watch kids paint, however seating may be limited for observers in kids classes.

Are walk-ins allowed?

If we have room, we will not turn away walk-ins, however, we discourage this practice. We assign seats and base our number of assistants on our number of reservations. In addition, classes often sell-out in the last few hours. A class with seats available in the morning could easily be sold out that evening. By the same token, if a class fails to meet a minimum of painters, it will be cancelled by noon on class day. So sign up early. We have a generous cancellation policy.

What is the cancellation policy?

Pinot's Palette cancellation policy is as follows: A full refund can occur if notification of cancellation occurs at least 24 hours before class start. You can also have the option to put the reservation on hold for a later date. The reservation can be put on hold if notification is received by noon on the class day. Failure to do so will result in loss of payment. For a private party a minimum of one week's notice is required for a refund or to reschedule.
