Pop in to your local Pinot's Palette for some unstructured In-Studio creative time. Take an hour or three to paint and unwine'd! Please arrive at least one hour from the end of the DIY Pop in and Paint session to allow enough time to complete your project. Come join us in the studio to have a fun impromptu girl's time out and enjoy a craft non-alcoholic beverage, wine cocktail, wine, cider or draft beer! Create one of our projects, or bring your painting idea to one of our paintable surfaces. Keep the stress of DIY mess out of the house, and let us pamper your creative spirit! Paint. Drink. your own all-natural soy candle in your favorite scent. It cures while you paint, so you’ll leave with both your

DIY Pop in and Paint are designed for people looking for some unstructured creative things to do individually or with friends and family. We have many paintings with written "self-guided" step-by-step instructions to help you create your personal masterpiece on a canvas. Upgrades also available.

Come paint a self-guided painting or let your creativity run wild!! $25 gets you one of our smaller canvas sizes (8x10", 10"x10", 11"x14", OR a 12"x16" canvas and all supplies needed. Upgrade to a 16"x20" or 10"x30" canvas for only $5 more or upgrade to a wood pallet for $15 more!

If you have some prior art experience or just like to try new things, you are welcome to paint anything in our studio that catches your fancy, but instructions are only provided for the designated paintings.

We have a great variety of paintings suitable for adults and children alike. There is no age restriction so the whole family is welcome to paint but children under 13 must be accompanied by an adult.

Reservations are highly recommended. Anticipate no less than 1 hr to complete your masterpiece. Latest time to start a project is 4 PM.

  • How do I sign up for a class?

    Browse our Event Calendar, select your painting event and follow the checkout instructions to reserve your seat. Pricing varies by event; the calendar shows current prices and details. The next month's calendar should be published by the 15th of the preceding month. For help, contact shortnorth@pinotspalette.com or 614-992-5886.

  • What is your cancellation/reschedule policy?

    PUBLIC CLASSES: With at least 24 hours' notice, cancellations are eligible for a studio credit valid for 60 days with no rescheduling fee. Rescheduling within 24 hours incurs a fee; contact shortnorth@pinotspalette.com for details. No-shows forfeit their reservation payment. Public classes require at least 3 painters. If that minimum is not met 3 hours before class, we may cancel and notify you by email or phone. You may receive a studio credit valid for 60 days or transfer to another class. Reservations are nonrefundable. PRIVATE EVENTS: Deposits are refundable when canceled at least 14 days in advance; no refunds are available with less than 14 days' notice.

  • Will you start on time?

    Yes. We start each event at the scheduled time. We recommend you arrive in the area at least 30 minutes prior to the start time to ensure you arrive on time. If you arrive more than 20 minutes late, you will not be able to join the class to avoid disruption to the rest of our guests.. No refunds or class credits are given to late guests.

  • Where do I park?

    There's easy to use permit or metered street parking in the area OR 3 parking garages within a short 3-5 minute walk.

  • Can I bring my own drinks?

    No outside beverages are allowed, including non-alcoholic drinks. Our full bar offers alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks for purchase, and water is complimentary. Guests must be 21 or older with valid ID to purchase or consume alcohol.
