Join us for this informative, fun class, creating your own charcuterie board! You will select the wood and design your own board. Classic handled 11x16 boards are available for this class.

All supplies are from Midwest Woodturners (Pour Your Own Epoxy). These boards will be made with black walnut or other light hardwood species. You will choose your own epoxy colors when you arrive. Attendees will have the choice of up to two colors of epoxy.

Final Projects, completed by Midwest Woodturners, have a two/three week turnaround time and will be returned to the location of the class for pickup. Emails will be sent to ticket holders when boards are delivered. Shipping options are available for $20 per project.

Safety is absolutely our top priority. We provide adequate PPE and host classes in areas that comply with the manufacturer's safety guidelines and SDS. All epoxy brands are formulated differently and must be treated differently from one another in terms of safety precautions.

Respirators are not necessary with the brand of epoxy we work with. It is very low to zero VOC, and 100% solids without any evaporating solvents. We chose the brand of epoxy we did around the fact that it's not dangerous when used correctly, and that it can be used without respirators given adequate ventilation.

We do provide gloves to class attendees. The specific brand of epoxy we work with will not cause harm if touched (unless one is allergic), but the gloves are an easy precaution to take.

Please let us know if you have any further questions and we'd be happy to answer.

Once the epoxy has cured it is completely food-safe for serving. The epoxy is not meant to be cut on if you were to score the epoxy then it would not be food safe as it is the same as getting plastic particles in your food. You can funnel everyone with questions about the epoxy/ safety data sheet to our office phone or email info@midwestwoodturners.com, 715-318-3737.
