Need a break today, join us in the studio for an afternoon of painting! Do your own thing or follow along with one of our Self-Guided Painting Instructions. Freestyle Afternoons are designed for people looking for some unstructured creative things to do individually or with friends and family.
Sign-ups recommended, but not necessary. Walk-ins welcome. Come in anytime between 1 and 5. It takes about an hour to paint a small canvas and two to paint a 16x20. Relax and unwind for a while.
$15 to paint a Mini 8x8. $25 to paint a larger 16x20 canvas. Paint your denim, wine glasses, or bottles, too!
We have over self-guided paintings to choose from. There will be artists available to assist you.
Masks required, We are limiting the seating and are keeping groups six feet apart. We have a new OptiClean air filtration and purification system in the studio to clean and move the air.
Discounts and complimentary cards are not accepted for this event.

What safety measures do you have in place?
We have added safety measures to ensure compliance with all Phase Four Guidelines from the State of Illinois and we are ready for some good clean fun! The class sizes are limited and we will seat groups six feet apart. We also have purchased a Carrier OptiClean™ Dual-Mode Air Scrubber & Negative Air Machine to purify and filter the air in the studio. We have hand sanitizing stations, guests are required to wear masks when they enter. You are able to take your mask down to drink or eat something.
How do I get my supplies for virtual painting events?
If you sign up for a virtual event, your supplies will be available at the studio the day of your class from 1-6 p.m. If you have an early morning or afternoon class, your supplies will be available the day before. You can always request to pick they up at earlier times by emailing us at email@example.com. We are happy to get your supplies ready earlier.
Do you have sanitizing stations?
Yes, we have plenty of hand sanitizer and three sinks in the front room where you can wash your hands.
Do you require masks?
We ask that you wear a mask when you enter the studio and when you are up walking around. You are able to take your mask of at your seat. We have complimentary masks, if you forget to bring one. We are spacing groups six feet apart.
What are your studio hours?
The studio is open from 12-6 everyday. The phones are answered from 9 am to 6 pm M-F and when we are in the studio on the weekends. for business hours every day (except major holidays). The Studio is usually open from 12:00 p.m.. to 10:00 p.m with public classes almost every day. Check our Event Calendar for more information.
