America Through the Decades
America Through the Decades: A Tuesday Night Time Machine in LouisvilleSome songs can transport you back to a moment in an instant.
Maybe it's hearing Glenn Miller and thinking about stories your grandparents told. Maybe it's the first notes of an Elvis hit that remind you of family road trips. It could be the unmistakable groove of disco, the opening riff of an '80s anthem, or that one '90s song that instantly puts you back in high school with the windows down and nowhere important to be.
Nostalgia has a way of making us smile. It reminds us of people, places, and moments that shaped who we are. This August and September, we're inviting Louisville to celebrate those memories one decade at a time.
Each week features a new decade-inspired painting, themed music, specialty cocktails, and plenty of opportunities to laugh, reminisce, and create something uniquely yours.
Whether you're reliving your own memories or discovering the era your parents can't stop talking about, these evenings are designed to be equal parts creative, social, and unforgettable.
