Is there an age limit?
Our studio Livermore is open to all ages. Please check the event calendar for age appropriate paintings and Little Brushes classes. Please Note: Other Pinot's Palette locations are 21+. Please check with each location on their age restrictions.
Is beer and wine included or can I bring my own?
California liquor laws do not allow us to include alcohol with the painting class fee. We feature Livermore wine, local craft beer and nonalcoholic beverages for purchase by the glass or bottle. No outside beverages (including water) or BYOB allowed. Don't forget your ID!
Can we bring food?
You asked, we listened! Appetizers and snacks are available for purchase at the bar. Outside food is no longer be permitted in public classes. Private parties may bring food or cater.
What is the cancellation policy?
Due to the custom nature of our classes, no refunds will be issued for reservations. However, if you cancel with at least 48 hours notice your payment will be turned into a store credit (good for 60 days) that can only be used for a future class. Please email us email@example.com to cancel. If you no-show for a class that you have a spot reserved, or don't give at least 48 hours’ notice, you forfeit your reservation payment. By completing the check-out process you agree to this policy. Tickets are transferable. If you cannot come, send someone in your place and call us to change the reservation. By signing up for class, you agree to this policy. Please note: If a public class does not reach a minimum of 10 painters by the day before, class MAY be cancelled. Painters will be notified and given the option to reschedule or get a refund. For the Private Party cancellation policy see Terms and Conditions under the private parties tab.
Where are you located?
We are located on South L Street between 1st and 2nd Street. Kiddie corner from the Donut Wheel, next to Livermore School of Dance. Parking is available on the street and in the our lot behind Pinot's Palette on 2nd St.
Is there reserved seating?
Yes, we have reserved seating. If you have a friend or group that you would like to sit with, enter their names in the seating request box at check out. Feel free to email us at firstname.lastname@example.org if you have questions. We can not hold seats without payment in full.
How do I sign up for class?
Signing up is easy. Click the event calendar tab to view our current schedule. Select which painting you would like to paint and click "Add Painting to Cart." Follow the on-screen directions to complete the order. Contact us if you have trouble completing your order and we will walk you through the process.
What days are classes held and when are you open?
PUBLIC CLASSES: See our events calendar on our website. We post them 6-8 weeks out. OFFICE HOURS: Our studio office is open for inquires Tuesday - Saturday 10 - 5 pm. PRIVATE PARTIES: The studio is available for private parties, fundraisers and corporate team building events 10am to 10pm. Please inquire with studio for current availability.
How much does it cost?
We offer 2-hour ($39 per painter) and 3-hour ($49 per painter) for regular painting sessions. Special events may be priced differently. See events calendar for details. MUST BE 21 to participate in the studio and drinks are NOT included due to California liquor laws. Please contact us for private party pricing..
I have no artistic talent. Will I be able to complete the painting?
Absolutely! Our artist will guide you step-by-step through the featured painting and will ensure that you stay on track to complete your masterpiece by the end of class. Don't hesitate to ask for help, we are here for you! Our goal is to offer you an exceptionally fun night out! Although, many of our artists have degrees in art and are professional teachers, we are not an art school.
What should I wear to class?
No dress code here...dress casual or dress up. We will provide you with an apron but painters have been known to get involved in their work of art. We have a minute or two to remove acrylic paint from your clothing or it's your Pinot's Palette souvenir! Make sure you wear a smile!
What do I bring to class?
Just yourself and snacks if desired. We provide the canvas, easel, brushes, paints, and apron for the class. We have a bar where you can purchase beer and wine by the glass or bottle. NO OUTSIDE BEVERAGES OR BYOB ALLOWED. Dont forget your ID!
When does the next calendar get posted?

Can you bring the paint party to another location?
YES! We will bring the paint party to you! Great for corporate team building and all celebrations! Call or email us for information!
When do I need to arrive and when does class start?
PUBLIC CLASSES: We recommend you arrive 30 minutes before class starts to allow time for you to get settled in and mingle before the painting starts at the published time. Latecomers will be allowed to paint, but if more than 15 minutes late, they will need to catch up on their own. PRIVATE PARTIES: Please arrive at the scheduled party time. Painting session will start 30 minutes after party start time. Latecomers will be allowed to paint, but if more than 15 minutes late after start of painting, they will need to catch up on their own.
Do you offer classes for guests under 21?
Yes, all classes are open to all ages at our Livermore studio. Check our event calendar for Little Brushes events and age apropriate painting classes.
Can I show up late?
Painting starts promptly, so you will have to catch up on your own if you arrive late.
Where do we send our Project Pet photos?
Email them to email@example.com by the due date noted on the class description.
What are your studio hours?
Office Hours: Tue - Sat 10-5. See our events calendar for public class times. Private party bookings are available 7 days a week, call 925-290-7478 for information and availability.
Do I have to paint the featured painting?
Not at all. Most people paint the featured painting. If you want to paint something entirely different, go for it!
Can I come and watch but not paint?
Everyone in the studio during an event must pay the full seat price.
What is Open Studio?
Open Studio is a paint on your own opportunity. This is not an instructor lead class, although there will be one there to help. Pick a painting from the wall to duplicate, enjoy one of our self-guided paintings with step-by step written instructions to follow, or create a masterpiece all on your own. Choose your favorite canvas size, wine glasses, wine bottles, wood palettes*, tote bags*. (*Upgrade Fee) We provide all the painting supplies. All guests must be 21 years of age to attend. Open Studio is available almost every Tuesday – Saturday 11-4 pm. Call us to check availability 925-290-7478.
