Are you open during COVID-19 and what measures are you taking to keep us safe?

We ARE OPEN! We hosting events INSIDE & OUTSIDE behind our studio. We have a tented patio with lights. We also offer Virtual Events, Kids Classes and Paint at Home Kits. The safety of our guests and staff are most important to us. We are taking the following precautions here at Pinot’s Palette while still having a great time: *Staff have been instructed to stay home if not feeling well. All staff will have their temperatures checked upon arrival to work. *Face masks are required. You must have a mask! You may remove your mask to enjoy drinks and appetizers. *Capacity has been reduced to ensure 6' between groups *Guests are required to stay in their seats unless visiting the restroom. *We will open a bar tab and serve drinks and food at your table. *All items used by guests are cleaned and sanitized after every event. This Includes: Aprons, Paint Brushes, Water Cups, Glassware & Food Equipment, Tables & Chairs, All Surface Areas, Cubbies and Restrooms

Do you offer virtual private events?

Yes, we do! These events are fun and great for birthdays and corporate team building. Supplies are included and we ship world wide. Your friends, family and team members don't have to miss the celebrations anymore!

Is beer and wine included or can I bring my own?

California liquor laws do not allow us to include alcohol with the painting class fee. We support our Livermore wineries and breweries by serving only local. Non-alcoholic beverages are also available. No outside beverages (including water) are allowed. Don't forget your ID!

Can we bring food?

You asked, we listened! Appetizers and snacks are available for purchase at the bar. Outside food is no longer be permitted in public classes. Private parties may bring food or cater.

What is the cancellation policy?

Due to the custom nature of our classes, no refunds will be issued for reservations. However, if you cancel with at least 48 hours notice your payment will be turned into a store credit (good for 60 days) that can only be used for a future class. Please email us to cancel. If you no-show for a class that you have a spot reserved, or don't give at least 48 hours’ notice, you forfeit your reservation payment. By completing the check-out process you agree to this policy. Tickets are transferable. If you cannot come, send someone in your place and call us to change the reservation. By signing up for class, you agree to this policy. Please note: If a public class does not reach a minimum of 10 painters by the day before, class MAY be cancelled. Painters will be notified and given the option to reschedule or get a refund. Where are you located?

We are located on South L Street between 1st and 2nd Street. Kiddie corner from the Donut Wheel, next to Livermore School of Dance. Parking is available on the street and in the our lot behind Pinot's Palette on 2nd St.

Is there reserved seating?

Yes, we have reserved seating. If you have a friend or group that you would like to sit with, enter their names in the seating request box at check out. Feel free to email us at if you have questions. We can not hold seats without payment in full.

How do I sign up for class?

Signing up is easy. Click the event calendar button to view our current schedule. Select which painting you would like to paint and click "Add Painting to Cart." What days are classes held and when are you open?

PUBLIC CLASSES: See our events calendar on our website. We post them 6-8 weeks out. OFFICE HOURS: Our studio office is open for inquires Wednesday - Saturday 10 - 5 pm. PRIVATE PARTIES: The studio is available for private parties, fundraisers and corporate team building events 10am to 10pm. Please inquire with studio for current availability.

How much does it cost?

I have no artistic talent. Will I be able to complete the painting?

Absolutely! Our artist will guide you step-by-step through the featured painting and will ensure that you stay on track to complete your masterpiece by the end of class. Don't hesitate to ask for help, we are here for you! Our goal is to offer you an exceptionally fun night out! Although, many of our artists have degrees in art and are professional teachers, we are not an art school.

What should I wear to class?

No dress code here...dress casual or dress up. We will provide you with an apron but painters have been known to get involved in their work of art. We have a minute or two to remove acrylic paint from your clothing or it's your Pinot's Palette souvenir! Make sure you wear a smile!

What do I bring to class?

Just bring your friends and you happy self! We provide the canvas, easel, brushes, paints, and apron for the class. We have a bar offering Livermore wine & craft beer, special drinks, non-alcohol drinks, snack and hot appetizers. We have something for everyone! NO OUTSIDE FOOD OR BEVERAGES (including water, we have plenty of H2O). Don't forget your ID!

When does the next calendar get posted?

We post calendars 6-8 weeks out. If you'd like to receive an email each month when our new calendar is posted, be sure to add yourself to our email list.

Can you bring the paint party to another location?

YES! We will bring the paint party to you! Great for corporate team building and all celebrations! Call or email us for information!

When do I need to arrive and when does class start?

PUBLIC CLASSES: We recommend you arrive 30 minutes before class starts to allow time for you to get settled in and mingle before the painting starts at the published time. Latecomers will be allowed to paint, but if more than 15 minutes late, they will need to catch up on their own. PRIVATE PARTIES: Please arrive at the scheduled party time. Painting session will start 30 minutes after party start time. Latecomers will be allowed to paint, but if more than 15 minutes late after start of painting, they will need to catch up on their own.

Do you offer classes for guests under 21?

Yes, classes are open to all ages at our Livermore studio. Sometimes, we like to have a night just for adults. Age limits will be specified on the class if there is an age limit. Otherwise they are open to all. Check our event calendar for Little Brushes events and age appropriate painting classes.

Can I show up late?

To respect the time of all of our guests, class starts on time. Arrivals more than 15 minutes after painting session has started are welcome to paint, but will need to catch up on their own. Painters arriving 30+ minutes after start of class will not be allowed to paint or receive a credit.

Where do we send our Project Pet photos?

Email them to by the due date noted on the class description.

What are your studio hours?

Office hours are limited during COVID-19: We are in the studio Wed- Sat 10-5. See our events calendar for public class times. Private party bookings are available 7 days a week. Email is the fastest way to reach us right now or you may leave a message at 925-290-7478 we will return your call asap.

Do I have to paint the featured painting?

Most people paint the featured painting. If you want to paint something entirely different, go for it! We love it when our guests go rogue!

Can I come and watch but not paint?

Everyone in the studio during an event must pay the full seat price.

What is Open Studio?

Open Studio is a paint on your own opportunity. This is not an instructor lead class, although there will be one there to help. Pick a painting from the wall to duplicate, enjoy one of our self-guided paintings with step-by step written instructions to follow, or create a masterpiece all on your own. Choose your favorite canvas size, wine glasses, wine bottles, wood palettes*, tote bags*. (*Upgrade Fee) We provide all the painting supplies. All guests must be 21 years of age to attend.
