Paint at Home

We now offer Paint at Home with video instruction and written instruction. Pick up your kits at the studio Wednesday-Saturday 12:00-4:00 PM. Please note if you place an order Sunday - Tuesday we are closed, the order will be processed Wednesday morning.

Do you offer virtual private events?

Yes, we do! These events are fun and great for birthdays and corporate team building. Supplies are included and we ship world wide. Your friends, family and team members don't have to miss the celebrations anymore!

Is alcohol included or can I bring my own?

California liquor laws do not allow us to include alcohol with the painting class fee. We support our Livermore wineries and breweries by serving only local, mixed drinks, non-alcoholic beverages. No outside beverages (including water) are allowed. Don't forget your ID!

Can we bring food?

You asked, we listened! Hot appetizers and charcuterie boards are available for purchase at the bar. NO OUTSIDE FOOD OR BEVERAGE (we have water too) See our bar menu here

What is the cancellation policy?

ALL TICKET SALES ARE FINAL! If you cancel with at least 48 hours notice your payment will be turned into a store credit (good for 60 days) that can only be used for a future class. This store credit CAN NOT be extended after the 60 days. Please email us at to cancel 48 hours before the event. No shows or less than 48 hour cancellations forfeit your tickets. Tickets are transferable. If you cannot come, send someone in your place and let us know about the change at the door. By signing up for class, you agree to this policy. Please note: If a public class does not reach a minimum of 4 painters, 4 hours before class it MAY be cancelled. Painters will be notified and given the option to reschedule or get a refund. Where are you located?

We are located on South L Street between 1st and 2nd Street. Kiddie corner from the Donut Wheel, next to Livermore School of Dance. Parking is available on the street and in the our lot behind Pinot's Palette on 2nd St.

Is there reserved seating?

Yes, we have reserved seating. If you have a friend or group that you would like to sit with, enter their names in the seating request box at check out. Feel free to email us at if you have questions. We can not hold seats without payment in full.

How do I sign up for class?

Signing up is easy. Click the event calendar button to view our current schedule. Select which painting you would like to paint and click "Add Painting to Cart." What days are classes held and when are you open?

PUBLIC CLASSES: See our events calendar on our website. We post them 4 weeks out. OFFICE HOURS: Our studio office is open Wednesday - Saturday 10 - 5 pm. We answer the phone and check email everyday! PRIVATE PARTIES: The studio is available for private parties, fundraisers and corporate team building events 24/7. Please reach out for current availability.

How much does it cost?

Prices vary per event. See the events calendar for pricing and details. Drinks are NOT included due to California liquor laws. Please contact us for private party pricing.

I have no artistic talent. Will I be able to complete the painting?

Absolutely! Our artist will guide you step-by-step through the featured painting and will ensure that you stay on track to complete your masterpiece by the end of class. Don't hesitate to ask for help, we are here for you! Our goal is to offer you an exceptionally fun night out! Although, many of our artists have degrees in art and are professional teachers, we are not an art school.

What should I wear to class?

No dress code here...dress casual or dress up. We will provide you with an apron but painters have been known to get involved in their work of art. We have a minute or two to remove acrylic paint from your clothing or it's your Pinot's Palette souvenir! Make sure you wear a smile!

What do I bring to class?

Just bring your friends and your happy self! We provide the canvas, easel, brushes, paints, and apron for the class. We have a bar offering hot appetizers, charcuterie boards, Livermore wine & craft beer, non-alcohol drinks. NO OUTSIDE FOOD OR BEVERAGES (including water, we have plenty of H2O). When does the next calendar get posted?

We post calendars 4 weeks out. If you'd like to receive an email each month when our new calendar is posted, be sure to add yourself to our email list.

Can you bring the paint party to another location?

YES! We will bring the paint party to you! Great for corporate team building and all celebrations! Call or email us for information!

When do I need to arrive and when does class start?

PUBLIC CLASSES: We recommend you arrive 30 minutes before class starts to allow time for you to get settled in and mingle before the painting starts at the published time. Latecomers will be allowed to paint, but if more than 15 minutes late, they will need to catch up on their own. PRIVATE PARTIES: Please arrive at the scheduled party time. Painting session will start 30 minutes after party start time. Latecomers will be allowed to paint, but if more than 15 minutes late after start of painting, they will need to catch up on their own.

Do you offer classes for guests under 21?

Yes, classes are open to all ages at our Livermore studio. Sometimes, we like to have a night just for adults. Age limits will be specified on the class if there is an age limit. Otherwise they are open to all. Check our event calendar for Little Brushes events and age appropriate painting classes.

Can I show up late?

To respect the time of all of our guests, class starts on time. Arrivals more than 15 minutes after painting session has started are welcome to paint, but will need to catch up on their own. Painters arriving 30+ minutes after start of class will not be allowed to paint or receive a credit.

Where do we send our Project Pet photos?

Email them to by the due date noted on the class description. This is time sensitive. If we do not receive your photo by the deadline, you forfeit your seat and payment.

What are your studio hours?

Studio Office Hours are Wed - Sat 10-5. We try our best to answer the phone on days off, please leave a message and we will return your call. Do I have to paint the featured painting?

Most people paint the featured painting. If you want to paint something entirely different, go for it! We love it when our guests go rogue!

Can I come and watch but not paint?

Everyone in the studio during an event must pay the full seat price. Kids under 12 must be accompanied by a paid adult.
