Is it safe to come to a Pinot’s Palette class in the studio?

Yes, it is! We have been inspected and approved by Larimer County to open at a limited capacity. We request that everyone wear a mask upon entering the studio, including staff members. We have special seating arrangements at each class to separate by family or group. There are hand sanitizing stations around the studio and in the bathrooms. All areas are sanitized on a regular basis during all shows and deep cleaning is done between shows.

What are the Studio hours?

Studio hours will vary according to our class schedule. We are always open when there is a scheduled class. Studio Office hours are Wednesday noon until 4 pm; Thursday, Friday and Saturday noon - 9 pm, Sundays from noon - 4 pm, closed on Mondays, Tuesdays and major holidays. Check out our Event Calendar for more information. Private parties can be held any day of the week!

What is the cancellation policy?

What is your cancellation policy? Pinot's Palette cancellation policy is as follows: No refunds will be made. Up to 2 Painters - notification must occur at least 24 hours before the class starts to receive a class credit, for the amount paid excluding any discounts or coupons used. You must use the Credit Code issued when you register for another class. Credit Codes are good for six months and can be used one time, they may not be transferred to another class once registration is made. All credit requests must be made by email and approved by Pinot's Palette managers. Groups of more than 2 painters - notification must occur at least 5 days before the class starts and will be reviewed by Pinot’s Palette managers for approval. Cancellation policy for Project Pet is 1 week before the class date to request a class credit by email. Cancellation for Chunky Blanket classes must occur at least 48 hours prior to the class start. A credit will not be issued however we will move your reservation to the next chunky blanket class that you are able to attend. These reservations may only be moved once. This cancellation policy applies to all public, and off-site parties. Private Parties must give days notice to cancel and get the deposit back. A private party may be canceled with deposit refunded, or rescheduled with full deposit applied, with at least 14 days notice in the Private Party Studio or 30 days in the Main Studio prior to the event. (Monday-Friday).

What days are classes held?

Private Parties are held 24/7 as requested. Public classes are generally scheduled Tuesday through Sundays, with two shows on Saturday. View our class calendar to find out more!

How do I sign up for a class?

Signing up is easy. Click the "Event Calendar" link on the top of the page to view our calendar of paintings. Select which painting you would like to paint and click the red "Register" button. Follow the on-screen directions to complete the order. Contact us if you have trouble completing your order and we will walk you through the process.

What does a class cost?

Most of the classes cost $35 or $45 per person depending on the painting being taught. Kid's and Family Days are $25. Kid's Parties are just $25 per child/$35 per adult painter. Pet Project is $55. Special Events can cost $45 or $50. Chunky Blanket Classes are $65.

What do I need to bring to the class?

You do not need to bring anything! We provide the canvas, easel, brushes, paints, and apron for the class. We have a bar where you can purchase beer and wine or our special drink of the night. We have snacks available to purchase. Remember that Colorado is not a BYOB state so all alcohol must be purchased at our Pinot's Palette Bar.

When do I need to arrive for class?

We recommend you arrive 20 minutes before class starts to allow time for you to get settled in and mingle before the painting starts.

Is there reserved seating?

Yes, we will have your easel set up for you when you arrive for class. If you have friends attending the class that you’d like to sit by, you can let us know when you book the class or you can send us an email. A 24 hour notice would be appreciated.

Is there an age limit for the normal public classes?

We are an art entertainment studio and welcome all ages to all shows! We do have kid’s specific classes, but all ages are welcome to attend our public classes. We do suggest children under the age of 14 attend with an adult during our evening classes.

How do Take Home Paint Kit Classes Work?

- Take Home Kits range from $25-$55 depending on what you paint on! Kids, adults, tote bags, tea trays, & Date Night options are available on a rotating basis. We supply the canvas, paint, brushes, and paper instructions. Easels available as an additional purchase! Take Home Kits need to be picked up during our designated pick up days/ times. This can be found on our class calendar and in the description of your virtual class take home kit. - Schedule changed and you don’t have time to paint right away? No worries! The paint cups will stay use-able for approximately 2 weeks, but should remain closed until ready to use to prevent drying.

What is a Virtual Class & How do they work?

- Virtual classes range from $10-15 and use your own supplies. You just purchase the live (or pre-recorded) class link. After registering, we send you an email with all the information you need, including: day & time of painting, supplies needed, how to login to Zoom, and the class link. - If you do not receive a class email 24 hours prior to start time please shoot us an email at fortcollins@pinotspalette.com so we can try to get you what you need. - Can’t make the live event? Our class links are valid for 4 days and then they become inactive. After 4 days you will no longer have access to this event.

My Virtual Class has a Take Home Paint Kit?

- Virtual classes with take home kits range from $30-35, depending on if you would like brushes included or not. Take Home Kits need to be picked up during our designated pick up days/ times. This can be found on our class calendar and in the description of your virtual class take home kit. - If you do not receive a class email 24 hours prior to start time please shoot us an email at fortcollins@pinotspalette.com so we can try to get you what you need. - Can’t make the live event? Our class links are valid for 4 days and then they become inactive. After 4 days you will no longer have access to this event.

How does the Chunky Blanket Take Home Kit Work?

- Create your own Chunky Throw Blanket in the comfort of your home! You will receive 4 skeins of yarn in your kit along with written instructions and a video! Your completed blanket will measure approximately 36 x40”. After you book your reservation we will email the color options from which you can choose. You can purchase additional skeins of yarn for $10 each at pick up or give us a call at 970-214-5208 - Take Home Kits need to be picked up during our designated pick up days/ times. This can be found on our class calendar and in the description of your virtual class take home kit. Your video tutorial will be emailed to you on pick up days, as well. - If you do not receive an email with your yarn color options 24 hours prior to studio pick up time please shoot us an email at fortcollins@pinotspalette.com so we can try to get you what you need. If you do not receive your video tutorial on your designated pick up day please shoot us an email.

Do you offer shipping or delivery options for Painting Kits?

Shipping is available in our Shop at https://www.pinotspalette.com/fortcollins/shop-item/25594 for in state or at https://www.pinotspalette.com/fortcollins/shop-item/25597 for out of state. Delivery is offered within a 10 mile radius with a minimum order.

What should I wear to the class?

No dress code here...dress casual or dress up. We will provide you with an apron but remember you will be working with paints or other medium that may not wash out of your clothing.

I don’t have any artistic talent? Will I be able to complete the painting?

Absolutely! Our artist will guide you step-by-step through the featured painting and will ensure that you stay on track to completing your masterpiece by the end of class. There are no mistakes, but Acrylic paint dries quickly, making mistakes easy to fix and perfect.

When does the next calendar get posted?

We are now posting classes 2 months in advance! If you'd like to receive an email each month when our new calendar is posted, be sure to add yourself to our email list.

Can I add a bottle of wine or beer to my On-Line To-Go order or Virtual Class reservation?

Absolutely! We are now allowed to offer alcoholic beverages TO GO! You can pay for wine on line or call us ahead of time to let us know what your choice of beverage is. Where should I park?

The best place to park in Downtown Fort Collins would be in the Civic Center Parking Garage, just 1 block north of the studio at 120 North Mason St.

Can I bring food into the studio?

Yes! Outside food and catered food is welcome. We also have great snacks available for purchase at the bar.

How many people can fit in the studio?

During this time we are allowed to have 50% capacity which is 24 in our main studio and up to 15 in our private party studio.

Can I rent space at Pinot's Palette to host my private event or meeting?

Yes you can! We rent space for all purposes. All room rentals come with a bartender, sound system and T.V. display!
