Class Details

This is a specialty event. National and Pinot Perks™ discounts cannot be applied for this event.

Paint a portrait of your pet at Project Pet. Once you sign up for the painting, email us a high quality digital photo of your pet (one pet per canvas, please) and we will do the rest. Each photo will be transferred onto a 16”X20” canvas. Our talented artists will walk you through the steps to create your very own Pet Portrait!

SAVE, A Friend to Homeless Animals, located in Skillman NJ, will be raising money for their Animal Shelter. Please join us to support animal rescue in your community. $10 of every seat will be donated to this worthy cause!

Just send us a high quality photo of your fur baby, and we will work our magic to transfer the image onto your canvas before you arrive. Our talented artists will lead you step-by-step while you enjoy your favorite beverage and watch your pet portrait come to life!

Send us a photo via (jpg.) ATTACHMENT of your pet by March 16th to princeton@pinotspalette.com. Make sure to include your name with the submission and please write in March 30 in the subject line.

After March 15, no refunds will be given. This is a fundraiser and exceptions cannot be made, sorry. **Registration for this class will close 2 weeks prior to class date**Photos not sent in by deadline will not have a canvas to paint on March 30, and therefore you will lose your seat (no refunds).

All pictures need to showcase your animal and reflect unobstructed views of their pet. 300dpi works best.

Here are some tips for success:

a) 1 pet per person/per photo
b) Highest resolution possible
c) Pet is clear and in the foreground with no furniture, objects, grass, etc. blocking any body parts
d) Pet is centered in the photo either FULL BODY or HEAD SHOT, with no cropped off edges.
e) Our best advice is to take a photo of your pet with the best camera you have outside during the day, under a shaded area (like your front porch, back patio, or inside near a window).
f) Remember, the better your photo is, the easier the painting process will be.

*** Sorry No Discounts, Special Promos or Comp Cards Allowed for Project Pet ***Once your photo has been submitted, no refunds allowed***

  • Q) What days are classes held?

Classes are held on Tuesdays, Wed., Thursday, Friday, and Saturday evenings and Saturday and Sunday afternoons!. We occasionally have classes on other nights during the week as well as on Saturday and Sunday afternoons- view our class calendar to find out more!

  • Q) What time should I arrive to my class?

Please arrive 30 minutes prior to the start time of your class. This will allow you time to get settled and mingle before the painting starts. We do start our classes on time at the Princeton Studio!

  • Q) I can't even draw a straight line...will I be able to do this and complete the painting?

Absolutely! Most guests have never painted a day in their life or at least since they were in pre-school. Our artist will guide you step-by-step through the featured painting and will ensure that you stay on track to completing your masterpiece by the end of class. There are no mistakes, but Acrylic paint dries quickly, making mistakes easy to fix and perfect
