The cooler weather of Autumn makes it so pleasant to get out there and dive into what our city has to offer. From the basics to the bizarre, Kansas City has a little bit of it all. If you just aren’t sure where to start, here are a few ideas to get the ball rolling!
1) Overland Park Fall Festival

The Overland Park Fall Festival features a hometown parade through Downtown Overland Park (beginning at 10am) , an arts and crafts fair with more than a hundred artisans, the farmers' market, three stages of concerts, food and more.
2) Louisburg Cider Mill Ciderfest and Craft Fair

3) 2019 Kansas City Grilled Cheese Festival

Okay, clearly somebody has been reading my diary. This festival will showcase grilled cheese sandwiches from local restaurants, specialty cocktails, live music, a cornhole tournament and a variety of other activities.
4) Cornucopia: KC's Ultimate Festival
Saturday, October 12 th, 2019

Kansas City Power & Light District

A family-friendly event, Cornucopia will feature bounce houses, a petting zoo, all the delicious foods of fall (kettle corn, caramel apples, S’mores), art displays, food trucks, and many other attractions.
5) Kansas City Music & Arts Festival 2019
Saturday, October 19th, 2019 – Sunday, October 20th, 2019
11:00 AM – 9:00 PM
Theatre in the Park Amphitheater
at Shawnee Mission Park
This free event will include a classic car show, a custom motorcycle show, Taste of KC Food Garden, live music, art and many other highlights.
There are many other activities occurring all over the KC metro area, from hayrides to pumpkin patches, corn mazes to mac ‘n cheese festivals. Make sure to carve out some time to enjoy our hometown with your friends and family!
