Frequently Asked Questions

What is a paint and sip class?

A paint and sip class is a fun social experience where an instructor guides you step-by-step through a painting while you enjoy food, wine, beer, cocktails, or non-alcoholic beverages. No experience is necessary. At Pinot’s Palette Huntington Beach, we provide all painting supplies, aprons, and instruction.

Do I need painting experience?

No experience is necessary. Our instructors guide you step-by-step through the entire painting. Most of our guests have little or no painting experience and are often surprised by what they create.

Is Pinot’s Palette Huntington Beach good for beginners?

Absolutely. Most of our guests have little or no painting experience. Our artists break the painting into easy-to-follow steps and are available throughout class to help. Whether it is your first time painting or your fiftieth, our goal is for you to have fun and leave with artwork you are proud of.

How do I sign up for a paint and sip class in Huntington Beach?

Visit our online Event Calendar, select the painting you would like to attend, choose the number of seats needed, and complete checkout. Once payment is received, your reservation is confirmed.

Do you take walk-ins for paint and sip classes?

Reservations are strongly encouraged because classes often sell out. If seats are available, we are happy to accommodate walk-in guests.

How early should I arrive for my painting class?

We recommend arriving approximately 30 minutes before class begins. This gives you time to check in, find your seat, order food or drinks, and get settled before painting starts.

What is your cancellation policy?

All sales are final, there are no refunds for class registrations. Reservations can be turned into a credit if requested 48 hours prior to the class date and time. Credits are good for 60 days.

Can I bring my own wine, alcohol, food, or drinks?

No. Outside beverages are not permitted. This includes wine, alcohol, water bottles, tumblers, and other personal beverage containers. Food policies may vary by event type. Please contact the studio with questions regarding private events.

Do you serve alcohol at Pinot's Palette Huntington Beach?

Yes. We serve wine, beer, handcrafted sake and soju cocktails, as well as non-alcoholic beverages. Beverage selections may vary by event.

Do you serve food at Pinot’s Palette Huntington Beach?

Yes. We offer hot panini sandwiches, cheese plates, snacks, wine, beer, handcrafted sake and soju cocktails, and non-alcoholic beverages available for purchase during most classes and events.

What should I wear to a paint and sip class?

Wear something you do not mind getting paint on. We provide aprons, but acrylic paint can permanently stain clothing, shoes, purses, and other personal items. While spills are uncommon, they can happen, so we recommend leaving valuable or delicate items at home.

Can I stay and watch if I am not painting?

No. Every guest attending a public class or private event must have a reserved seat. Due to space limitations, we cannot accommodate spectators or non-painting guests during classes.

Are kids and teenagers allowed at Pinot’s Palette Huntington Beach?

Our Family Day and Little Brushes events are designed for younger painters. Regular public classes are generally for guests ages 13 and older. Guests under age 18 must attend with a participating adult.
