There’s Always Something Fun to Try at Pinot’s Palette
If you think a night at Pinot’s Palette is always the same paint-and-sip experience, take another look at the calendar!
We've got date nights and seasonal paintings; There's some specialty projects and relaxed Open Studio sessions... And More! Whether you’re looking for a fun night out with friends, a unique date idea, or simply an excuse to make something new, there’s plenty coming up to choose from.
---> Make It a Date Night <---
Painting together is already a pretty great date idea, but several upcoming classes are designed especially well for couples.
You can each create your own piece or choose a coordinating painting and turn your night out into something you’ll actually have to remember it by.
-- 'Galaxy Waterfall Forest' on September 17
-- 'Gilded Reflections' on September 18
-- 'Let’s Get Toasty' on September 19
---> Try Something Beyond the Traditional Canvas <---
Not every creative night has to involve a paintbrush.
-- On September 20, the studio is hosting a Chunky Knit Blanket class, where guests can create a cozy handmade blanket just in time for cooler weather.
-- Later in the month, 'Let it Bee' (September 27) trades the traditional canvas for a decorative wood round, giving you a finished piece that’s ready to become part of your home décor.
---> Come Create on Your Own Schedule at Open Studio <---
Sometimes you want to make something without committing to a traditional instructor-led class.
That’s where Open Studio comes in. Federal Way has several Open Studio afternoons scheduled throughout the month, offering all-ages, unstructured creative time where you can come in, paint, create, and unwind at your own pace.
This is a great option for families, friends, or anyone who wants a more casual creative afternoon.
---> A Special Night for Book Lovers <---
One of the more unusual events on the September calendar is the Exclusive 'Verity' Experience: 'Secrets on Still Water'.
This class is held on September 25 and is a fun way to combine a night of painting with a themed experience that feels a little different from the usual night out... Oh, and it's a great excuse to gather your fellow book lovers for something creative together.
---> Fall Is Starting to Sneak Into the Studio, Too <---
September is also bringing the first hints of spooky season. If autumn decorating starts early in your house, these are the kinds of paintings you’ll be happy to bring home.
-- 'Ribcage Bouquet' on September 19
-- 'Whiskers and Webs' on September 27
-- 'Pumpkins and Flowers' on September 30
--->> And keep an eye out for special experiences like Black Light Painting, too.
Federal Way recently hosted 'Lunar Pines' – Black Light, where fluorescent details and black lighting transformed a nighttime landscape into a glowing painting experience. Events like these are a great reminder to check the calendar regularly—there’s always something a little different popping up at the studio.
With so many options on the calendar, you don’t have to wait for a special occasion to plan a creative night out. Grab a friend, bring a date, round up the family, or come ready to meet some new people... and see what’s happening next at Pinot’s Palette Federal Way.
