How do I sign up for a class?
Signing up is easy. Click the "VIEW THE EVENT CALENDAR" link on the home page to view our calendar of paintings. Select which painting you would like to paint and click "Register." Follow the on-screen directions to complete the order. Contact us if you have trouble completing your order and we will walk you through the process.
Is there an age limit for your regular public classes?
Yes, we are an art entertainment studio and our evening classes are geared towards adults. We do have kid’s specific classes for children, teen only events and family classes available, but our standard evening classes allow guests aged 14 - 17 if they are accompanied by an adult. All guests must be at least 21 years of age to purchase or consume alcohol.
What should I wear to paint?
No dress code here...dress casual or dress up. We provide all guests with an apron, but painters have been known to get involved in their work of art!
What do I need to bring to class?
We provide the canvas, easel, brushes, paints, and apron for the class. All you need to bring are appetizers or snacks you might want to enjoy! We have an in studio bar with wine, beer, mixed drinks, soft drinks, and juice. We supply paper plates, napkins, and plasticware.
What is the cancellation policy?
A full refund can be issued if cancellation of a reservation occurs at least 48 hours before the class start time We must receive an EMAIL for a refund a minimum of 48 hours in advance. You will also have the option to put the reservation on hold for a later date or transfer the reservation to another class. The reservation can be put on hold or transferred to another class if notification is received at least 24 hours before class start. ALL REQUESTS - PLEASE SEND EMAIL TO ELMHURST@PINOTSPALETTE.COM Refunds or reservation transfers are not available if notification of cancellation occurs less than 24 hours prior to class start. This cancellation policy applies to reservations of 2 or less. For cancellation of a reservation of 3 or more, a minimum of one week's notice is required for a refund or to reschedule.
I don’t have any artistic talent? Will I be able to complete the painting?
Absolutely! Our artist will guide you step-by-step through the featured painting and will ensure that you stay on track to completing your masterpiece by the end of class. There are no mistakes, but Acrylic paint dries quickly, making mistakes easy to fix and perfect.
Is there parking near your studio?
3-hour street parking is available around our studio. There is also a free 3 hour parking garage 1/2 block North of our studio at 255 Elmhurst (entrance is next to shell gas station. )
When should I arrive for class?
We recommend arriving 20-30 minutes before class starts to allow time to get settled in, grab a drink and mingle before the painting starts.
Is there reserved seating?
Yes, we have your easel set up for you at your spot before you arrive for class. If you have friends attending the class that you’d like to sit by, please let us know when you make your reservation or you can send us an email - just make sure to give us at least 24 hours notice.
Do I need a reservation to attend a class?
Reservations are not required but highly encouraged. If there is available seating and you don't have a reservation, please arrive 30 minutes early so we can get you set up.
