Class Details

During this one-of-a-kind event, we will guide you step-by-step through hand-knitting a warm, soft, chunky knit blanket. No needles or knitting experience is required!

YARN WILL NOT BE PROVIDED FOR THIS CLASS, so please bring your own! We recommend 4 skeins of chunky chenille yarn for a 40”x 50” throw blanket. For larger blankets, 5-6 skeins can be used, but keep in mind you are unlikely to finish during the allotted class time.

YARN SIZE: Chunky Chenille Jumbo 7 or larger, should be the width of your thumb or wider.

  • All I can draw is a stick figure, is Pinot's Palette for me?

    The beauty of our classes at Pinot's Palette - is that no previous art experience or ability is required or needed in order to still bring a masterpiece home at the end of your class! Our artist will lead you and guide you step-by-step through the featured painting and will ensure that you stay on track to completing your masterpiece by the end of class. There are no mistakes in art, so jump in and follow along!

  • How do I sign up for a Public Class advertised on your calendar?

    Signing up is easy. Select your painting from our calendar, choose the number of seats, and click ‘Add to Cart.’ You can also request seating preferences at checkout. Also, be sure to sign-up for our Pinot Perks Membership - an easy way to get rewarded for the seats you buy!

  • Is there an age requirement for our Public Classes?

    Guests 18+ are welcome in all public classes. Ages 13–17 may join with a paid adult. For younger artists (5+), check our Little Brushes & Family Classes. Please review our calendar for those specific classes.

  • Do I need to reserve a seat to a Public Class ahead of time?

    Our "shows" have limited seats, so it is recommeded to reserve a seat prior to class, as it may sell out by class time. Also, reserving your seat ahead of time, allows you to input your seating choice so that you may sit close to those attending the class with you.

  • Can I walk in on the day of a Public Class and buy a seat on the spot?

    As long as a class is not sold out, and there are available seats for those in your party, than "yes" absolutely! We would love to have you and can quickly set you up with a canvas and all the supplies you will need to complete your painting. Feel free to call our studio before the class to verify if there are any seats left available.
