Two cute friends hanging out in the rain. This is a painting skill building class that takes two 1½ learning sessions. Skills for this class include: Paint consistency, brush control, blending.

THIS IS A 2-DAY LESSON to inspire the inner artist in Teens with our Expressions Series art lessons for ages 13-17. Learning goals will focus on brush skills and maintenance, blending, drawing and painting basic forms, shading and highlighting from a light source, drawing and rendering objects, composition balance and texturing. It is our hope to foster their passion for art in a fun relaxed atmosphere where their talent and creativity can shine!

Each 2-day lesson teaches foundational skills to create these amazing paintings. The lesson fee listed above covers both days and all supplies. Day 1 is MONDAY, July 13th and Day 2 is TUESDAY, July 14th. The classes for both days will begin and end at the times listed above. Students must attend Day 1 in order to attend Day 2. Class size is limited so there are no refunds for cancellations with less than 48 hours notice before the Day 1 class.

This class will be taught by Ruthie M., our professional artist who created the Discovery and Expressions curriculum and classes. Ruthie has B.A. in Elementary Education and a master’s in educational administration from UNLV. She’s also become an incredible body painting artist, making a name for herself in sculpting, molding, and Special FX makeup, a skill she picked up while attending Cosmix School of Makeup Artistry in Fort Lauderdale, Fla. Ruthie has over 25 years of experience teaching art to children and adults and has been a Pinot’s Palette artist since 2018 where she continues her passion for growth by creating original artwork for the company's numerous studios across the United States. Ruthie is a blessing and we are lucky to have her passion of sharing her knowledge and enthusiasm for art – and for life!

Our age policies vary by municipality. At Town Square and The District, you must be at least 18 to attend a public class (13 to 17 if accompanied by an adult). At Boca Park, you must be 21 to attend a public class. Family Day classes at any location are for ages 7+. Due to the nature of our classes, and for the enjoyment of all of our guests, we cannot accommodate babies or toddlers. No alcohol will be served at Boca Park Family Day classes.

  • Do I need a reservation?

Reservations are not required but are highly recommended in case the class is sold out. We have assigned seating such that if you don't have a reservation but your friends do, you may not be able to sit with them. If you don't have a reservation, please arrive approximately 30 minutes early so we can get you set up and settled in.

  • What is the public class cancellation policy?

A full refund can occur if you cancel at least 48 hours before the class starts. You also have the option to put the reservation on hold for a later date. The reservation can be put on hold to be used for another class if the cancellation is received at least 24 hours before the class starts. Loss of payment will occur for "no shows" or a cancellation with less than 24 hours notice.

  • Is the wine included with the class?

No, because some of our guests choose not to drink during their class. Your bar tab (if any) is extra.

  • Can I bring my own wine?

Sorry, BYOB is not allowed by our liquor license but we carry a wide variety of wines and beer for your enjoyment.
