Class Details

Pine cones are the “flowers” of pine trees; there are both male and female. The male cones are near the bottom of the tree and the female cones hang at the top of the tree. The big, round pine cones that are hard and open are female pine cones. The oldest living tree is a pine/spruce in Dalarna Province, Sweden. Its' roots have been around for over 9,000 years (since the last ice age); when the tree dies (around 600 years) the roots grow a new seedling thus rejuvenating itself.

  • What should I wear?

No dress code here...dress casual or dress up. We will provide you with an apron, but painters have been known to get involved in their work of art..

  • Do I need to know how to paint, because I don't!

Absolutely not! Our artist will guide you step by step through the featured painting and will ensure that you stay on track to completing your masterpiece by the end of the class.
