DIY - Summer LivingSummer nights should be enjoyed out doors without the buzzing (and biting) of pesky mosquitos, but unfortunately they are everywhere. You can reduce the aggravation by making your own wine bottle citronella candles, and even better - you can enjoy the bottle of wine first!
HOW TO MAKE A WINE BOTTLE CITRONELLA CANDLE:
*replacement torch wicks
*1-2 bags of small marbles
Place the marbles in the bottom of your wine bottle. Wrap the wider end of your coupling with Teflon tape so it will fit tight in the mouth of the bottle. Slide the wick through the coupling and leave about 1/2" of the wick sticking out of the top to light. Add the Tiki fuel into the bottle. Place the wick and the coupling into the mouth of your wine bottle, and make sure to press in on the Teflon tape. Light, and enjoy a mosquito free evening!
