Frequently Asked Questions
How do I sign up for a class?
Signing up is easy! Click the "Classes" link on the side of the page to view our calendar of paintings. Select which painting you would like to paint and click "Add Painting to Cart." Follow the on-screen directions to complete the order. Contact us if you have trouble completing your order and we will walk you through the process.
What does a class cost?
Our 2-hour painting classes are $35 per person, and our 3-hour painting classes are $45 per person. Kids and Family Day classes are $25 per person.
I don't have any artistic talent. Will I be able to complete the painting?
Absolutely! Our artist will guide you step-by-step through the featured painting and will ensure that you stay on track to complete your masterpiece by the end of class. If you make a "mistake", don't worry... acrylic paint dries quickly, so making touch-ups to your painting is a breeze.
Is there reserved seating?
Yes, we have your easel set up for you at your spot before you arrive for class. If you have friends attending the class that you’d like to sit by, you can let us know when you book the class or you can send us an email (just make sure to give us at least 24 hours notice).
What do I need to bring to class?
All you need to bring are your beverage(s) of choice and any snacks or appetizers you might want during the class. We provide all your art supplies- canvas, easel, brushes, paints, and apron for the class. We also provide the wine glasses, plates, napkins, plasticware, ice, and bottled water.
Can I bring my own cocktails/alcohol to class?
Yes, you can bring wine, beer, or liquor to Pinot's Palette. There will be a large ice bucket to put wine in during the class. We do expect all painters to be responsible with alcohol on and off the premises.
What should I wear to class?
No dress code here...dress casual or dress up. We will provide you with an apron, but painters have been known to get involved in their works of art, so please keep this in mind when choosing your attire
When do I need to arrive for class?
We recommend you arrive 10-15 minutes before class starts to allow time for you to get settled in and mingle before the painting starts.
Is there an age limit for the regular, public classes?
Yes. We do have kid-specific classes, but the normal public classes have the following requirements: -18 years old and up -13 to 17 years old with an adult
What is the cancellation policy?
The Pinot's Palette cancellation policy is as follows: • A full refund can occur if cancellation is received at least 48 hours before class (for parties of 2 or less). A full week is required for parties of 3 or more. • The reservation can be put on hold or transferred to another class if notification is received at least 24 hours before class. • No notification (or cancellation within 24 hours of class) will result in loss of payment. ---------- Project Pet • A full refund can occur for Project Pet if notification is received at least 14 business days before class. This is due to the fact that we Photoshop each pet & have them individually printed onto each canvas in preparation for class. • A class credit can be given to use on the next Project Pet class if notification is received at least 48 hours before class. • No notification (or cancellation within 48 hours of Project Pet) will result in loss of payment.
