How much does it cost?
The price of the class depends on the duration, $36 for a two hour class and $40 for a three hour class. We also have special pricing for specialty classes such as Family Days ($30) and special events. Be sure to check our calendar for specific class prices.
Is alcohol included in the price of the class?
No, because many of our guests choose not to drink during class. However, there are times that we offer specials which include a free glass of house wine, well drink or beer.
May I bring my own wine?
We're sorry but our liquor license does not allow for BYOB but we do carry many selections of wines and, beer and we also have a full bar.
Are there age requirements?
16 and up for classes Monday-Thursday and 18 and up for Friday-Sunday. Family classes are 7 and up and will be indicated on the calendar for specific Sunday classes.
What is the cancellation policy for a public class?
Due to the custom nature of our classes, no refunds will be issued for reservations. However, if you cancel with at least 48 hours notice your payment will be turned into a store credit that can only be used for a future class. Please email us firstname.lastname@example.org to cancel. If you no-show for a class that you have a spot reserved, or don't give at least 48 hours’ notice, you forfeit your reservation payment. By completing the check-out process you agree to this policy.
May I invite minors to my private party?
Yes! Feel free to invite painters ages 7 and up for private events.
What is the cancellation policy for a private party?
Deposits for private parties or corporate events in the Starry Night Beach Room are fully refundable if the event is cancelled with at least 14 days advance notice. Events in the main studio require at least 30 days advance notice.
Do I need a reservation to attend a class or can I pay when I get there?
Reservations are not required but they are highly encouraged. We have assigned seating and if you don't have a reservation but your friends do, you may not be able to sit with them. If you don't have a reservation, please arrive 20-30 early so that we can get you set up.
Is there assigned seating?
Yes, we have assigned seating for all public classes. Let us know when you make your reservation if you have other friends that will be attending and we''ll make sure that you are sitting together. We will have your easels and supplies set up for you at your personalized spot when you arrive.
Do I have to pay for my reservation in advance?
Our seating is limited and we require advance purchase in order to reserve your seat. We do take walk-ins but we can not guarantee that we will have availability.
How do I make a reservation?
Registering for a class is easy! Simply click on the "Event Calendar" link near the top of the page to view our calendar of events. Select the painting that you would like to paint and click "Add to Cart." Follow the on-scree directions to complete your order. YOu can also call the studio and we will be happy to take your reservation over the phone.
What time should I arrive?
We encourage everyone to arrive approximately 30 minutes prior to class to beat the rush at the bar, get settled in and socialize with your friends.
My family member or friend doesn't want to participate, can they come and watch me paint?
We want to make sure all of our guests have a wonderful experience at Pinot's Palette therefore we do not allow non-painting guests. Our seats are for paying guests only.
What should I wear to class?
We don't have a dress code at Pinot's Palette. We'll provide you an apron but accidents do happen and acrylic paint does not wash out of clothing.
What is included in the class?
We provide the canvas, easel, brushes, apron and paint for your class. We have a full bar with a large selection of wine, beer and well drinks. Please feel free to bring your own snacks.
Do you have non-alcoholic beverages?
Yes, we have water, soda, coffee and tea.
