Get ready for live music, sales that can't be beat, mouthwatering food trucks and activities for the kids at PierFest 2016.
The inaugural PierFest took place last year during Columbus Day weekend, and after a successful event, the festival will return to Pier Village.
This year's free fest will take place from noon to 4 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 15, in Pier Village at Festival Plaza, 1 Chelsea Ave. in Long Branch.
Enjoy sidewalk sales at the local shops, vendors and crafters, live music performances from local acts, including Elya Vasiliev, who performs a versatile set ranging from Frank Sinatra to Coldplay; as well as Justin and Alina — a brother and sister duo who perform their own rendition of top 40 hits.
Joe Miller, an Asbury Park-based musician, will perform folk and acoustic music.
Red Bank's Pinot's Palette, the sip and paint franchise, will also provide paint instructions.
The event is organized in partnership with Jersey Shore Premiere Events. For more information on vending and sponsorship opportunities, contact Rosa Davis at email@example.com or Chris Fotache at firstname.lastname@example.org.
