Red Bank the scene of a holiday soiréeThis article first appeared in the Asbury Park Press on October 27th.
The month of October is coming to a close, which means holiday festivities are just around the corner.
One such event is a new addition to the local calendar: Red Bank Business Alliance’s Holiday Soirée. The alliance, a network of more than 100 borough business owners dedicated to the prosperity of the local community, will host the event from 6 to 9 p.m Nov. 17 at Molly Pitcher Inn.
The soirée is a fundraiser for Jason’s Dream for Kids and the Clean Ocean Action Coalition; 100 percent of ticket sales and proceeds will benefit the organizations.
“The idea of the event is supporting the charities, and it is a nice night for everyone around Red Bank,” said Ayca User, co-owner of the borough’s Antoinette Boulangerie and a soirée organizer.
The evening will include cocktail, appetizer and dessert tastings from local bars, restaurants and bakeries; live music, gift bags and silent auctions. Participating borough restaurants include Teak, The Bistro at Red Bank, Catch, The Downtown, Temple Gourmet Chinese, The Cheese Cave, Toast, Sugarush and Antoinette Boulangerie, among others.
Tickets cost $75 in advance or $100 at the door. Molly Pitcher Inn is at 88 Riverside Ave. in Red Bank. For more information or to purchase tickets, visit www.redbankbusinessalliance.com.
