Little Brushes: Summer Camp!

Little Brushes: VIRTUAL Summer Camp for ages 6-12 years old. Our first art series session includes a complete art kit for the entire week, and we will be learning the principles and elements of Landscapes and Perspective.

Week 2- Landscapes & Perspective

Have a child ages 6-12 who’s taken a serious interest in creating? In this virtual crash course to visual image making, we will begin our studies this week with an introduction to the Elements and Principles of Art. We will explore different ways that art is implemented in our daily lives, gain knowledge of the core components that make up any art piece, and we will put this knowledge to the test by applying what we learn to a project that will be completed throughout the week! A positive attitude and willingness to experiment will be paramount in this class.

LIVE INTERACTIVE VIRTUAL CLASS. This class will not be held in the studio - this will be an interactive class where students may "raise their hand" to ask questions, etc.

THIS IS A WEEK LONG COURSE WITH 1.5 HOUR INSTRUCTION PER DAY (MONDAY-FRIDAY, 1-2:30 PM) 06-22-2020 THRU 06-26-20.

MON - Intro to Drawing Landscapes
TUES - Intro to 1-Point Perspective
WED - 1-Point Perspective Exercise
THUR - Intro to 2-Point Perspective
FRI - 2-Point Perspective Project

Once you register - you will be mailed a supply list for the entire week, such as specific worksheets, a folder, multimedia paper, safety scissors, pencils, colored pencils, glue, a pencil sharpener, a ruler, and a shoe box for a project we will be doing. Please make sure you have all the supplies for the camp before June 22!

We will be sending you the ZOOM link to join the live interactive class from home!

Please note that this specific week's focus is on learning about Landscapes & Perspectives. There will be more crash courses to come, each week being different, some of which will entail painting, as well as other mediums, such as charcoal, pastels, etc..

If you experience technical issues during the live class or are unable to attend, a recording of the class will be available for 4 days following the event.

For questions or assistance in registering, please email us at princeton@pinotspalette.com and we will get back to you ASAP.

  • Q) What days are classes held?

Classes are held on Tuesdays, Wed., Thursday, Friday, and Saturday evenings and Saturday and Sunday afternoons!. We occasionally have classes on other nights during the week as well as on Saturday and Sunday afternoons- view our class calendar to find out more!

  • Q) What time should I arrive to my class?

Please arrive 30 minutes prior to the start time of your class. This will allow you time to get settled and mingle before the painting starts. We do start our classes on time at the Princeton Studio!

  • Q) I can't even draw a straight line...will I be able to do this and complete the painting?

Absolutely! Most guests have never painted a day in their life or at least since they were in pre-school. Our artist will guide you step-by-step through the featured painting and will ensure that you stay on track to completing your masterpiece by the end of class. There are no mistakes, but Acrylic paint dries quickly, making mistakes easy to fix and perfect
