Do I have a seating assignment?
Yes, we have your easel set up for you at your spot before you arrive for class. If you have friends attending the class that you’d like to sit by, you can let us know when you book the class or you can send us an email (…just make sure to give us at least 24 hours notice). *Private Parties do not have assigned seating.
What do I need to bring anything?
Just bring yourself! (oh, and your friends) We supply everything you need to make your masterpiece. Food is permitted so if you like, bring a snack but we have some at our bar too!
What should I wear?
Jeans, sweats, a tuxedo or a ball gown we don't care what you wear as long as you're comfortable. We provide aprons to cover your clothing but keep in mind when picking your outfit that we are using acrylic paint and it will stain if you do get any on your clothing.
Do I need experience? I don't know how to paint.
Most of our customers have not painted since grade school, but our talented team of artists will guide you through the featured painting step by step. We are sure you will leave with a painting your proud of.
How much does it cost?
Two hour painting classes are $38.00 per person, three hour painting classes are $48.00 per person, we also have childrens painting classes and specials at a reduced rate. Check our calendar for class times and pricing.
When does your next calendar get posted?
We try to post the next months calendar on the 15th of every month.
I'm running late, should I still come to class?
Lateness happens occassionally, and we understand that but please try to arrive no later than 15 minutes after the class start time. After that, we may not be able to help you catch up to the rest of the class and complete that classes featured painting.
Can I bring a friend with me who is not painting?
Sorry, but unfortunately we do not allow people to attend without a reservation unless it is a parent with a young child.
What is your Cancellation Policy?
Pinot's Palette cancellation policy is as follows: A full refund can occur if notification of cancellation occurs at least 48 hours before class start. You can also have the option to put the reservation on hold for a later date. The reservation can be put on hold to sign up and attend another class if notification is received at least 24 hours before class start. Loss of payment will occur if no notification of cancellation occurs or if notification occurs less than 24 hours prior to class start. This cancellation policy applies to parties of 2 or less. For cancellation of a party of 3 or more, a minimum of one week's notice is required for a refund or to reschedule. For Cancellation of a Private Party, a full refund of your deposit will be given if you cancel prior to10 days before the party date. A loss of your full deposit will occur if party is cancelled within ten days of the date of your party.
How do I sign up for a class?
Just click on the event calendar tab, find a painting event you would like to attend and sign up. See you in class!

How does it work at Pinot's Palette?
Once you decide on a class you would like to take, you arrive at our studio and one of our artists will guide you step by step through the featured painting. We also have a bar that serves beer, wine and non-alcoholic beverages so that you can sip your favorite drink as you paint and listen to great music.
Can I bring my own beverages?
We have an in-studio bar that has available for purchase cocktails wine, beer, ciders and non-alcoholic . We also have a selection of Kosher wines.No outside beverages are allowed in our studio per NYC liquor laws.
