Painting it Forward

Project Pet

Sunday, May 20

1:00 - 4:00PM

Paint a portrait of your pet at Project Pet. Once you sign up for the painting, email us a high quality digital photo of your pet (one pet per canvas, please) and we will do the rest. Each photo will be transferred onto a 16”X20” canvas. Our talented artists will walk you through the steps to create your very own Pet Portrait!

We will be donating $10 per seat to Heart of America Humane Society. No discounts or complimentary gift certificates of any kind accepted for this class. Photos and registration closes on May 6th at 5:00pm. Once a photo is received there will be no refunds or transfers given to this class. Only one pet per canvas. By submitting your photo, you agree to this. If by chance you cannot make the class, you can still come and get your canvas.

About Heart of America Humane Society:
Heart of America Humane Society is committed to promote kindness to animals, the prevention of cruelty to animals, the extension of humane education, the encouragement of spay/neuter programs among individual pet owners and animal shelters, and the encouragement of programs designed to adopt animals held at approved animal shelters to approved members of the public.

Save and improve the lives of Kansas City’s homeless companion animals by promoting responsible pet ownership. Heart of America Humane Society partners with the Lee’s Summit Animal Shelter in Lee’s Summit MO to manage a spay/neuter program and to increase pet adoptions into permanent homes.

We are a BYO studio but provide all the glassware, ice, plates, napkins, silverware, corkscrews and bottled water. Everyone coming into the studio needs a reservation, non-painters are not allowed in due to seating capacity. Our public classes have the following age requirements: 10 to 17 years old with a painting adult, or 18 years old and up. No Major Savers Discount accepted for this class.

Painting It Forward:
A paint and sip class with an extra dose of heart and soul. When you buy a seat in a Painting It Forward class, you're making a donation to a nonprofit or community fundraiser.
