Girls World Expo is a day-long event created by local teen girls for local teen girls – our local Girls Advisory Board is made up of teens from Staten Island who have created a unique show just for you! We have also worked closely with our local media partner, Staten Island Advance, to fill the day with seminars, performances, demonstrations, and vendors that serve your needs in the Staten Island area!
Girls World Expo can change your life – come together with your friends, or make new ones at the Expo, to enjoy a magical day where you will hear from and meet successful and powerful women right from your own community who can show you a path to success! You will attend workshops, listen to speakers, see demonstrations, science exhibits, and speak one-on-one with women who are leaders in business, government, industry, the arts, and many other realms of endeavor. It’s a rare opportunity for you to see what your future could be, and learn what it will take to get there.
But it’s not all work! Girls World Expo is also fun. There’s a fashion show, an art show, music and dance performances by talented local artists, and the always-popular GWE Marketplace, where you can see and purchase everything from hair accessories to self-help materials, and clothing to jewelry.
It’s not just another day. It’s a very special day. It’s an opportunity to spend a day in a safe, secure environment inspired by the company of other girls and not just seeing but creating the future. Your future.
The Perfect Night Out
Enjoy drinks, upbeat music and hanging out with your favorite people while you paint! It's as fun for first-time painters as it is for experienced artists.
From the moment you walk in, the mood is light, the music is fun and the conversation comes easy!
Easy to Do
You don't need to be a seasoned painter — we make it easy for everyone to find their inner artist!
You'll get seats with all your friends, even if you book separately. Just tell us your friends' names when you register.
Paint Your Way
There's no rule that says you have to follow the artist's steps. It's your art, so paint it however you like!

What time should I arrive for class?
We open the doors 30 minutes prior to class so you can come in, go to the bar & hang out with your friends before we start painting.
Is there reserved seating?
Yes, we create a seating chart to make sure you and your friends can all sit together. If there is someone you want to sit with that made a separate reservation, please tell us in the comments section of your reservation or send us an email.
What is the age requirement?
Palette offers a fun night out for adults, and our studio maintains an adult atmosphere during public classes where alcohol is consumed. For this reason, no children 12 or under will be admitted (with the exception of specifically labeled Little Brushes or Family Day classes). 13-17 year olds may attend when accompanied by a guardian, and 18+ are welcome to join our classes at their own discretion. New York law maintains that a person must be 21 and up to consume alcohol.
