Create some garden mosaics! All supplies are included. You will be led step-by-step as we create a beautiful masterpiece!
Lisa will teach you mosaic basics as you create a mosaic flower stake, a round or heart-shaped stepping stone, or a flowerpot. All materials, supplies, and use of tools are provided.
This is a three (3) hour class geared toward beginner students who want to learn about basic techniques, tools, and materials in mosaic art. The mosaic art has to dry for 48 hours before you can add the grout. Lisa will demonstrate how to grout and give you grout to take home.
Instructor: Lisa Tolbert, mosaic artist.
Lisa Tolbert creates and teaches mosaic art in a style referred to as picassiette. She has a master’s degree in education and BBA in business with a minor in art history. She received the Audience Award at the Bridgeport First Annual Art Competition in 2015 and an Award of Excellence at the Naperville Women’s Club 58th Annual Art Fair in 2016.
Please let us know which mosaic you would like to create in the SEATING REQUEST area. As pictured in the class information, the different pieces available are a mushroom, a stepping stone, a flower pot, a turtle, and a flower stake.
