Paint a portrait of your pet at Project Pet. Once you sign up for the painting, email us a high quality digital photo of your pet (one pet per canvas, please) and we will do the rest. Each photo will be transferred onto a 16”X20” canvas. Our talented artists will walk you through the steps to create your very own Pet Portrait!

Create a tribute to your furry friends while enjoying a drink with your human pals and giving back to the Houston Humane Society!

YOUR PET PHOTO IS ACTUALLY PRINTED ONTO THE CANVAS!**Deadline to sign up for class and submit your approved pet photo is: Thursday, October 18th by 3pm. Email your HIGH-QUALITY pet photo to montrose@pinotspalette.com
(DISCOUNTS NOT AVAILABLE FOR THIS CLASS)

TIPS FOR PHOTO SUBMISSIONS:
• 1 pet per person / per photo
• Highest resolution possible/ large file size (camera phones do not always have the best resolution)
• Pet is clear and in the foreground with no furniture, objects, grass, etc. blocking any body parts
• Pet is centered in the photo either FULL BODY or HEAD SHOT, with no cropped off edges
• Our best advice is to take a photo of your pet with the best camera you have, outside during the day, under a shaded area (like your front porch, back patio, or inside near a window). **Remember, the BETTER your photo is, the easier the painting process will be.

The Houston Humane Society is dedicated to, and working towards, ending cruelty, abuse and the overpopulation of animals while providing the highest quality of life to those in our care. **For every seat purchased to this Project Pet event, Pinot’s Palette will be donating a portion of the proceeds to The Houston Humane Society!**

Frequently Asked Questions

Check out our FAQs to learn more about what to expect from your Pinot's Palette experience or feel free to call the studio to speak to a member of our staff.

  • Is there an age limit for public classes?

Yes. For Public Classes 7 to 17 years of age may attend with an adult, all attendees must have a paid seat. Texas law maintains you must be 21+ to consume alcohol. We are BYOB only.

  • Can someone come who is not painting?

No, unfortunately due to our limited space, we do not allow observers in our public classes. All attendees must have a paid seat.

  • What does Pinot's Palette provide?

We provide all of your painting supplies and professionally laundered aprons to protect your clothing, along with glassware, chinet plates, banquet napkins, lucite utensils, ice buckets with ice for chilling your bottles, corkscrews/bottle openers, and complimentary bottled water.

  • What should I bring to class?

We are a BYOB studio. Feel free to bring anything you’d like to drink or snack on during class. Guests will typically bring wine or beer, though any beverage is welcome. Food is welcome but please keep in mind that space is limited, so simple snacks and finger foods are recommended.

  • When do I arrive for a class?

Doors open 30 minutes prior to class start time. We recommend arriving 30 minutes prior to class start time to allow for free street parking, finding your assigned seat, putting on your apron, and pouring a glass of your BYOB. Painting begins promptly at the class start time. Late arrivals may not be able to finish their paintings by the end of the class.
