Fall Activities Around Memorial City!It’s FINALLY beginning to feel like fall! As Houstonians, we know that when the weather dips below 80 degrees, it’s time for us to get outside and start taking advantage of the glorious temperature. Wait, we can actually be outside for more than 10 minutes?! Yes, and here are a few fun October activities around the Memorial City and Houston area for us to enjoy during this brief reprieve from the sun!
PUMPKIN PATCH FUN!
Nothing says “Fall’s here Y'all” like going to the pumpkin patch farms around Houston. You and your family can pick out pumpkins of all shapes and sizes not to mention the photo-worthy backgrounds of fields of pumpkins!
Old Time Christmas Tree Farm Pumpkin Patch - Spring

The Time Christmas Tree Farm and Pumpkin Patch offers train rides, hayrides, a petting zoo, pumpkin patches, corn mazes, and a petting zoo. This place seems like a fall free for all! They are open Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays throughout October. Admission is $5 for ages 2 and up.
TRICK-OR-TREAT DANCE PARTY
Going Trick-or-Treating in Houston can sometimes be intimidating or downright scary, not in a good way. Joining a Halloween event or get together for kids may be the safest route to go.

The CityCenre in Memorial City is a having a spooky bash for all the kiddos. After they have filled their bags to the top with candy, they can stick around for a Monster Mash and dance off the excitement of Halloween!

HOUSTON GHOST TOURS - GHOST, GOBLINS, AND MAYHEM
If you are an adult and take Halloween seriously, ghost hunting is probably your thing! When cardboard cutouts of Casper just don’t get your heart pumping any more than let’s go find the real deal!
Houston Ghost Tours
If you are looking to take Halloween to the next level with a dab of paranormal fun, join the Houston Ghost Tours. You can join the tour and take a 60 to 90-minute walk through the streets of Houston. The tour guides will fill you with terror as they divulge the spine-tingling tales and legends of the supernatural world of Houston.
HALLOWEEN CAR SHOW – NATIONAL FUNERAL MUSEUM
October 28th, 10am – 3 pm.
The Halloween Car show has over 100 classic and contemporary models. Enjoy face painting, delicious food, Halloween crafts, and a live DJ. Have a great time while supporting local charities.
