Paint a portrait of your pet at Project Pet. Once you sign up for the painting, email us a high quality digital photo of your pet (one pet per canvas, please) and we will do the rest. Each photo will be transferred onto a 16”X20” canvas. Our talented artists will walk you through the steps to create your very own Pet Portrait!
This Class is Fundraiser for NY Pet Rescue. HELP THE FUR BABIES!
***DEADLINE IS JUNE 14th for Registration and for any Refunds. Please see below for important information about the photo you will need to submit once you register***
Pet Rescue is a 501(c)(3) non-profit animal rescue organization founded in 1982, whose mission is to aid homeless, neglected and abused cats and dogs, provide necessary veterinary care and find them loving, forever homes. Since its beginning, the group has rescued more than 15,000 animals and also works to decrease the population of homeless dogs and cats through its spay/neuter programs. Pet Rescue is located at 7 Harrison Avenue in Harrison, NY and their website is www.ny-petrescue.org
Send photos to Mamaroneck@PinotsPalette.com by June 14th
Any photos sent after this date will not be printed and your reservation will be refunded.
All pictures need to showcase your animal and reflect unobstructed views of their pet. 300dpi works best.
Here are some tips for success:
a) 1 pet per person/per photo
b) Highest resolution possible
c) Pet is clear and in the foreground with no furniture, objects, grass, etc. blocking any body parts
d) Pet is centered in the photo either FULL BODY or HEAD SHOT, with no cropped off edges.
e) Our best advice is to take a photo of your pet with the best camera you have outside during the day, under a shaded area (like your front porch, back patio, or inside near a window).
f) Remember, the better your photo is, the easier the painting process will be.

Frequently Asked Questions
Check out our FAQs to learn more about what to expect from your Pinot's Palette experience or feel free to call the studio to speak to a member of our staff.
Q) I don’t have any artistic talent? Will I be able to complete the painting?
Absolutely! Our artist will guide you step-by-step through the featured painting and will ensure that you stay on track to completing your masterpiece by the end of class. Nearly everyone is surprised at their inner Picasso! There are no mistakes, but Acrylic paint does dry quickly so we love to help you to adjust and perfect your work.
Q) How do I sign up for a class?
Signing up is easy. Click the "Classes" link on the side of the page to view our calendar of paintings. Select which painting you would like to paint and click "Add Painting to Cart." Follow the on-screen directions to complete the order. Contact us if you have trouble completing your order and we will walk you through the process.
Q) When do I need to arrive for class?
We recommend you arrive 15 minutes before class starts to allow time for you to get settled in and mingle before the painting starts.
Q) Where the heck are you?
We are at 108 Mamaroneck Ave, near where this vibrant street meets Boston Post Road. We are right by the water and at one of Westchester County's best destinations!
Q) Can I bring wine? May I bring food?
We are not permitted for BYOB. Wine and Beer is available for sale by the bottle or glass at some of the most reasonable prices in the area. Other beverages such as coffee or tea are available for purchase as well. Bottled water is always free. Unfortunately, our permitting does not allow you to bring your own alcohol (BYOB). We do expect all painters to be responsible with alcohol on and off the premises. You are encouraged to bring food for you and your guests to eat. We will provide refrigerator and countertop space. With advance notice, we can also arrange for catered food to be made available to you through one of our local partners.
