*By purchasing your seats, you confirm agreement with the following policies:
RESERVATIONS: Due to the current limited capacity of private events we are allowed to host at the same time as public events in the studio, all parties are required to pay all together and may settle up in-studio once the event has ended and we have verified the final headcount. Party deposits may be applied towards the final cost of the party once the event has ended. If attendees wish to pay individually, we request the party host collect their payments on the hosts' terms in advance.
PARTY OCCUPANCY: The private event cost covers parties up to 8 painters, with no minimum headcount. There will be an additional charge of $36 per painter for any party that exceeds 8 painters. These additional seats will be added to the final cost of the party and can be paid individually or all together at checkout in-studio once the party has ended.
HEALTHY AT WORK: For your safety, as well as the safety of our artists and staff, we are strongly encouraging masks to be worn upon entering and exiting the studio, in common areas while walking around, and at your seat while not eating and drinking. If you forgot your mask, we have them available for purchase for $1 each. If you choose not to wear a mask, our artists reserve the right to not provide one-on-one assistance with your painting. Only one person or group may enter the studio at a time upon check-in. Please form a line to check-in outside on our social distancing markers on the sidewalk in front of the studio until it is your turn to enter. Guests are required to sanitize their hands upon entering and exiting the studio, as well as washing them throughout class. Gloves will be provided to any guests that wish to wear them. Additionally, all artists and staff will have their temperature taken upon arrival and will be required to wear a mask and/or face shield throughout their entire shift. You will be informed of additional studio procedures upon check-in.
Drinks are not included in the event price. Please have valid ID ready for the bar if you plan on consuming alcoholic beverages. A paid reservation and active painting participation is required to be in the studio during all events. No exceptions! Since we are licensed solely as a bar, this is required per our St. Matthews liquor license and zoning restrictions for the Woodlawn shopping center, as well as our corporate policy.
NO OUTSIDE DRINKS of any kind (including non-alcoholic) will be permitted. Food is not provided. You're more than welcome to bring any food you'd like to snack on during class. We provide plates, utensils, and napkins for every event.
LATE ARRIVAL POLICY: There will be an automatic non-negotiable $75 fee for every 30 minutes your party runs over due to starting late from your party not arriving in a timely manner. Please plan to arrive within the allotted 30 mins before your scheduled party start time to avoid additional fees.
CANCELLATION POLICY: While we regret to lose the opportunity to paint with you, our party cancelation policy is in place to ensure the professional artists who are booked specifically for your party. For this reason, we firmly require a minimum of a one week notice of cancellation before your party date to grant a deposit refund or reschedule date within 30 days. A deposit placed with less than one week notice before the desired party date will not be eligible for either refund or reschedule and the deposit will be forfeited.

What is Pinot's Palette?
Pinot's Palette is Louisville's premiere paint and sip destination, and the only paint and sip in town with a full bar. You will enjoy an upscale studio with 2 rooms that can accommodate public classes and private events at the same time. You come to us for an entertaining evening where you create a painted masterpiece and memories with friends, family, and co-workers. Pinot's Palette is truly the place to Paint. Drink. Have Fun.
I don't have artistic talent. Will I be able to complete the painting?
Absolutely! Our professional local artists will guide you step-by-step through the featured painting and will ensure that you stay on track to completing your masterpiece by the end of class. There are technically no real mistakes in art, but acrylic paint dries quickly, making any mess-ups easy to fix and look like "happy accidents", as Bob Ross would say.
What days are Public and Private events held?
Public events are always held on Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Occasionally, there are classes on other nights during the week. Private Events can be scheduled any day of the week, provided it does not conflict with other scheduled events. View our Event Calendar to find out more!
Do I need a reservation?
Yes, advanced reservations are required. All guests must be registered for class prior to arrival to guarantee your reservation and special seating requests. Payment is due at the time of the reservation to guarantee your seat.
