Are masks required during Covid?
Yes. For the safety of our staff and guests everyone is required to wear a mask in studio.
What is paint and sip?
Paint and sip events combine social drinking with painting. Our paint and sip studio offers beer and wine at our bar. Everyone gets a canvas and follows an artist’s instructions to recreate the featured painting on their own canvas. Paint and sip is not a serious art course – it’s about socializing and having fun.
I don’t have any artistic talent, will I be able to complete the painting?
Yes, our artist will guide you step-by-step through the featured painting. This assures you stay on track to completing your masterpiece by the end of class. This is not a serious art course – it’s about socializing and having fun.
Do I need a reservation?
Reservations are not required but highly recommended. Class may at times be sold out. We have assigned seating and if you don't have a reservation but your friends do, you may not be able to sit with them. If you don't have a reservation, please arrive approximately 45 minutes early so we can get you set up and settled in.
Is payment required in advance?
For our public classes we take payment at the time of reservation. We do take walk-ins but we cannot guarantee availability.
How do I sign up for a class?
Signing up is easy either online or by phone. Click the "Event Calendar" link at the top our web page to view our calendar of paintings. Select which painting you would like to paint and click "Register." Follow the on-screen directions to complete the order. Contact us if you have trouble completing your order and we will walk you through the process.
How do I get my discount code or use my gift certificate?
When you register for an event, there’s a place to add discount codes and gift certificates right above the Proceed to Checkout button.
What does a painting class cost?
In general classes are $35 per painter for a two hour class and $39 for a 3 hour class. Some specialty classes are priced differently. In all cases the prices for each class are available when you click on a painting from our “Event Calendar".
When do I need to arrive for class?
Doors open 45 minutes before the beginning of each event. We recommend you arrive 30 minutes before class starts to allow time for you to get settled in and mingle before the painting starts.
Can I show up late?
Painting starts promptly, so you’ll have to catch up on your own if you arrive late. We will assist you as best we can. To maximize your enjoyment arrive early if possible.
What is your age policy to attend painting events?
In our evening public classes ages 13 to 17 must be with an adult. We have kid’s specific classes (ages 7+), and family days (any age with an adult).
Is there reserved seating?
Yes, we have your easel set up for you at your spot before you arrive for class. If you have friends attending the class that you’d like to sit by, you can let us know when you book the class or you can send us an email.
What is the Cancellation Policy?
Pinot's Palette cancellation policy is as follows: A full refund can occur if notification of cancellation occurs at least 48 hours before class start. You can also have the option to put the reservation on hold for a later date or transfer the reservation to another class. The reservation can be put on hold or transferred to another class if notification is received at least 24 hours before class start. Loss of payment will occur if no notification of cancellation occurs or if notification occurs less than 24 hours prior to class start. This cancellation policy applies to parties of 5 or less. For cancellation of a party of 6 or more, a minimum of one week's notice is required for a refund or to reschedule.
What do I need to bring to class?
We provide everything you will need for the class: the canvas, easel, brushes, paints, and apron. We have a bar and have a variety of wine, beer, and non-alcoholic beverages for sale. We have some light snacks available for sale also. You are welcome to bring your own snacks.
What should I wear to class?
We do not have a dress code...dress casual or dress up. We will provide you with an apron but keep in mind that painters have been known to get involved in their work of art.
Can I just come in and paint whenever?
No, our studio is only open during scheduled events. There are many Open Studio events on our calendar where you can come in and paint.
What is an Open Studio Event?
At Open Studio events, you get all the supplies needed to paint, but there is no featured painting. You can choose an image from our painting library, or paint whatever you want.
What is a Date Night painting?
You and your date will paint separate canvases; when placed together, your canvases will match up to create one picture.
Can we bring drinks?
Sorry, BYOB is not allowed by our liquor license. We serve a wide variety of wines and beer for your enjoyment. Non-alcoholic beverages are also available.
Can I bring snacks?
Absolutely, we recommend finger foods, just to make it easy. We have paper plates, napkins and silverware available for you.
