Can I bring my own wine?
Liquor laws vary by jurisdication and Lake St. Louis does not allow bringing your own liquor. But don't worry, we have a wide variey of wine & beer for your enjoyment.
Does the class price include alcohol?
No, your bar bill, if any, is extra.
What are the age requirements?
We are an art entertainment studio geared towards adults. We do have kid’s specific classes, but the normal public classes have the following requirements: 13 to 17 years old with an adult at our evening classes -Must be 21 to purchase alcohol. Check our calendar for kids classes where the age requirement is seven and up.
Are there non-alcoholic drinks available?
Yes! We provide bottled water for all of our guests. In addition, soda, iced tea and juices are available for purchase.
What is your Public class cancellation policy?
We ask that you cancel no less than 48 hours before a class to receive a full refund. You also have the option to put the reservation on hold to reschedule. 24-48 hours before class we can put your reservation on hold to reschedule. If you have to cancel less than 24 hours before a class you will forfeit your class fee. If you are a "no-show" for a class there will not be a refund.
What is your Private Event cancellation policy?
If your event is scheduled in our Private room, you may cancel up to 14 days before the class. If you have scheduled your event in our Main room, we require 30 days notice to cancel the event.
Do I need a reservation?
While reservations are not required, they are highly recommended to avoid missing the class due to a sell out.
Do I have to pay in advance?
Since our seating is limited, we take payment at the time your reservation is made.
Is there assigned seating?
Yes, we have assigned seating for all of our public classes. This ensures your entire party will be able to sit together. Let us know if you have friends attending with you when you make your reservation by clicking on the "Edit Painter Details" button so we can seat you all together. Private parties do not have assigned seating.
How is assinged seating determined?
If you have a favorite spot, simply tell us in your reservation. If there are multiple requests for the same spot, Pinot Perks members will have priority.
Can I bring a friend or family member to watch but not paint?
To ensure a full and fun experience for everyone, we do not allow non-painting guests. The exception is Family Day, when a parent can bring their child but not paint.
What time should I arrive?
Arrive 30 mins before class to beat the rush to the bar and get settled in.
What should I wear?
We don't have a dress code, so you are welcome to dress up or be casual. We provide aprons, but remember, accidents happen and acrylic paint does not wash out of clothing.
What should I bring to class?
Just your smile! We provide everything else you need!
How big will my masterpiece be?
Regular claases paint on a 16" x 20" canvas. Little Brushes classes and some Family Day classes may use a smaller canvas. Look for details in the painting calendar.
