How do I sign up for a class?
Signing up is easy. Click the "Events Calendar" at the top of the page to view our calendar of paintings. Select which painting you would like to paint and click "Add to Cart." Follow the on-screen directions to complete the order. Contact us if you have trouble completing your order and we will walk you through the process.
How much does a class cost?
Most classes are 2 hours and cost $35 per person. Some are 3 hours and those cost $45 per person.
What is the cancellation policy?
Our cancellation policy for public classes is as follows: A full refund can occur if you cancel at least 48 hours before the class starts. You also have the option to put the reservation on hold for a later date. The reservation can be put on hold to be used for another class if the cancellation is received at least 24 hours before the class starts. Loss of payment will occur for "no shows" or a cancellation with less than 24 hours notice. Our cancellation policy for private parties, corporate events and mobile events is as follows: Deposits for mobile events and corporate events or private parties in June's Room are fully refundable if the event is cancelled with at least 14 days advance notice. Events in the Main Studio require at least 30 days advance notice.
What do I need to bring to class?
All you need to bring is a smile. We provide the canvas, easel, brushes, paints, and apron for the class. We also provide a fun list of wines, beer, and soft drinks for purchase. Bottled water is complimentary but feel free to bring your own snacks.
I have not artistic talent. Will I be able to complete the painting in one class?
Absolutely! Our artist will guide you step-by-step through the featured painting and will ensure that you stay on track to complete your masterpiece by the end of class. Don't worry about mistakes, acrylic paint dries quickly, making mistakes easy to correct.
When do you post your next months calendar?
We try to post the next months calendar around the 15th of the month. Signing up for our newsletter will guarantee you'll be the first to know when our calendar is released. You can sign up by clicking the "Join our newsletter," tab on the at the bottom of the page.
What should I wear to class?
No dress code here...dress casual or dress up. We will provide you with an apron but painters have been known to get "involved" in their work of art and acrylic paint does not wash out of clothing.
When do I need to arrive to a class?
We recommend you arrive 30 minutes before class starts to allow time for you to get settled in, enjoy a drink and mingle with friends before the painting starts.
Is there an age limit for normal public classes?
You must be at least 18 years of age for our public classes but ages 13 to 17 are welcome to participate if they are accompanied by an adult. We do offer Family Day Classes suitable for children ages 7 and above provided they are accompanied by an adult. Age limitations for private parties are at the discretion of the party organizer. Wine and beer are available for purchase at all events.
Can I bring a friend with me to just sit in and not paint?
To ensure a full and fun experience for everyone, we do not allow non-painting guests. After all, our motto is Paint. Drink. Have Fun.
Is there reserved seating?
Yes, we have assigned seating for all of our public classes. This ensures that there will be space for your entire party to sit together. Your easel and supplies will be set up for you at your personalized spot before you arrive for class. If you have friends attending the class that you’d like to sit by, you can let us know when you book the class or you can send us an email. Private Parties do not have assigned seating.
What days are classes held?
Classes are held most every weekend starting at 7 PM on Friday and Saturday and 2 PM on Sunday. We rotate weeknight classes between Wednesday and Thursday and on occasion have some afternoon classes. Please see our calendar for a list of all public events.
