Frequently Asked Questions

How much does a class cost?

2 hour painting classes cost $40 per painter. 3 hour painting classes cost $50 per painter.

Where are you located?

258 Newark Street between Park & Willow. The studio is located on the 3rd floor of the new Eureka Building.

How do I get into the building?

Use the touch screen intercom. Search the directory for Pinot's Palette and we will buzz you in, then take the evaluator to the 3rd floor!

Is there parking? After all...this is Hoboken?

If you are able to walk to the studio or arrive via the PATH you have it the easiest! We are only 4 blocks from the PATH station. If you plan on driving to the studio, here are some options: 1. Non-residents: you CAN park for a total of 4 hours on one side of each block. It MUST be the side with the white sign and green letters that states permit parking only zone. If you are not a Hoboken resident, you CANNOT park on the dark green sign side. 2.. There is a Private Parking Garage (Central Parking) located a half block away at 77 Park Avenue. 3. There is a City Municipal Parking Garage located about 6 blocks away at 371 4th Street. 4. There is meter parking around the studio. It is $2.00 for 2 hours. The meter ends at 9PM so no money needed after 9PM. Also no money required at meters on Sunday.

What time should I arrive to the class?

Please arrive 30 minutes prior to the start time of your class. This will allow you time to get settled and mingle before the painting starts. The painting will start at the exact time listed on the calendar.

What should i wear to class?

No dress code here...dress casual or dress up. We will provide you with an apron but painters have been known to get involved in their work of art.

What do I need to bring to class?

We provide the canvas, easel, brushes, paints, and apron for the class. All you need to bring are any drinks and/or snacks you might want to enjoy! We also provide the wine glasses, corkscrews, ice & ice buckets, paper plates, napkins, plasticware, and complimentary bottled water.

Is there an age limit for regular public classes?

Yes. Regular public classes are for 18 and over. However ages 16-17 are welcomed if accompanied by an adult. Please note we have special family day classes for ages 6 and older-check our monthly calendar for details.

Can I bring a friend with me to just sit and watch, not paint?

Unfortunately seats are limited. We do not allow people to attend our painting classes without a reservation. And there is no fun in just watching....get your friend to make a reservation to paint, drink and have fun with you at the studio!

What is your cancellation policy for regular public classes?

If you cancel with 48+ hours you are able to receive a full refund. If you cancel between 24-48 hours you are only able to receive a credit for a future class. If you cancel with less than 24 hours notice-it will result in loss of payment- you will not receive any refund or credit-
