It's an Open Studio at Pinot's Palette today!
Freestyle Afternoons are designed for people looking for some unstructured creative things to do individually or with friends and family. We have over 30 paintings with written "self-guided" instructions to help you create your personal masterpiece on a "8x10" canvas!
If you have some prior art experience or just like to try new things, you are welcome to paint anything in our studio that catches your eye, but instructions are only provided for the designated "8x10" paintings. There will not be an instructor on hand but you will have access to paint, brushes, and all other supplies needed!
We have a great variety of paintings suitable for adults and children alike. There is no age restriction so the whole family is welcome to paint, but anyone under 18 must be accompanied by an adult. Also doors close at 3PM, so make sure to arrive no later than 2PM to give yourself at least an hour to be creative!
Prices start at $15 for a "8x10" canvas, but you can always upgrade and buy any of the following at the studio (depending on availability-each price below is additional):
16x20 Wood Pallet-$20
10x30 Wood Pallet $25
**Everyone has to have a paid seat but you are more than welcome to share an upgraded canvas! Sorry, no discounts on this class. :( **
The Perfect Night Out
Enjoy drinks, upbeat music and hanging out with your favorite people while you paint! It's as fun for first-time painters as it is for experienced artists.
From the moment you walk in, the mood is light, the music is fun and the conversation comes easy!
Easy to Do
You don't need to be a seasoned painter — we make it easy for everyone to find their inner artist!
You'll get seats with all your friends, even if you book separately. Just tell us your friends' names when you register.
Paint Your Way
There's no rule that says you have to follow the artist's steps. It's your art, so paint it however you like!
Frequently Asked Questions
Check out our FAQs to learn more about what to expect from your Pinot's Palette experience or feel free to call the studio to speak to a member of our staff.
What is paint and sip?
Paint and sip events combine social drinking with painting. Our paint and sip studio is BYOB. Everyone gets a canvas and follows an artist's instructions to recreate the featured painting on their canvas. Paint and sip is not a serious art class - it's about socializing and having fun!
Do I need to know anything about art?
Not at all. Our artists provide easy, step-by-step instructions to help everyone produce a great finished product.
This is my first time; what should I expect?
Expect a relaxed, fun atmosphere – there’s no pressure to be Van Gogh! We provide everything, including aprons to protect your clothes and a paint-free space for your purse or coat.
Can I show up early?
Please do! Most guests arrive 15-20 minutes early to get settled and start on their first drink.
Can I show up late?
Painting starts promptly, so you’ll have to catch up on your own if you arrive late.
