What Days Are Classes Held?
Classes are held on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday evenings. We also occasionally have classes on other nights during the week & on Saturday & Sunday afternoons – view our class calendar to find out more!
What Does a Class Cost?
Weeknight classes are 2 hours and cost $39 per painter. Friday & Saturday classes are 3 hours and cost $45 per painter.
When Do I Need to Arrive for Class?
We recommend you arrive 30 minutes before class starts to allow time for you to get settled in and mingle before the painting starts.
Is There Reserved Seating?
Yes, we have your easel set up for you at your spot before you arrive for class. If you have friends attending the class that you’d like to sit by, you can let us know when you book the class or you can send us an email (…just make sure to give us at least 24 hours notice).
Is There An Age LImit For a Regular Public Class?
Yes, we are a BYOB art entertainment studio. We do have kid’s specific classes, but the normal public classes have the following requirements: -Minimum age is 13 and 13 to 17 years old with an adult -18 years old and up For Family Days, the age minimum is 5 years old. Many people ask why 13 is the minimum age. We are mainly an adult night out entertainment studio. There are adult conversations, alcohol, etc. that may happen during a class that parents would not want children to hear. Also, many of our patrons are parents and they are coming for a date night out. They would like to be surrounded by other adults for the evening. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us at the studio.
What is the Cancellation Policy?
Pinot's Palette cancellation policy is as follows: A full refund can occur if notification of cancellation occurs at least 48 hours before class start. You can also have the option to put the reservation on hold for a later date or transfer the reservation to another class. The reservation can be put on hold or transferred to another class if notification is notice is given up to 2 hours before class begins. Loss of payment will occur if no notification of cancellation occurs or if notification occurs less than 2 hours prior to class starts or after class has happened.
What Do I Need to Bring to Class?
We provide the canvas, easel, brushes, paints, and apron for the class. All you need to bring are any drinks and/or appetizers you might want during the class. We do not provide any drinks (alcoholic or non-alcoholic) besides bottled water. We also provide the wine glasses, corkscrews, ice buckets & we have plates, napkins, and silverware.
I Don't Have Any Artistic Talent. Will I Be Able to Complete the Painting?
Absolutely! Our artist will guide you step-by-step through the featured painting and will ensure that you stay on track to completing your masterpiece by the end of class. No art experience needed! There are no mistakes, but Acrylic paint dries quickly, making mistakes easy to fix and perfect.
When Does the Next Calendar Get Posted?
We try to post the next month's calendar between the 10th and 15th of the month. If you'd like to receive an email each month when our new calendar is posted, be sure to add yourself to our email list.
What Should I Wear to Class?
No dress code here...dress casual or dress up. We will provide you with an apron but painters have been known to get involved in their work of art.
Can I Bring Something Other Than Wine? Will There Be Something Cold to Put White Wine In?
You can bring wine, beer, or liquor to Pinot's Palette. There will be a large ice bucket to put white wine in during the class. We do expect all painters to be responsible with alcohol on and off the premises.
Can I Just Come In and Watch and Not Paint?
Great question! For Private Events, yes you can (as approved by the host). For public classes, however, we have a 'No Observers" policy. We have found in the past that when there is someone in the room who is not painting while others are, it creates an awkward or uncomfortable experience for those who are painting. Painters may already be timid about doing this for the first time and we want to honor the comfortability and safety of all patrons in the room.
What is the Best Way to Contact Pinot's Palette?
Thanks for wanting to contact us! Email is the best (more options once we open)
What if I Registered for the Wrong Class?
No problem! Contact us and let us know which class you would like to re-register for and we'll take care of you.
What if I Have Severe Allergies to Certain Foods?
We are a BYOB studio, meaning you bring in whatever you would like to eat and drink. This is a great way to control what you would like and not like to eat. If you have a more severe allergy that could affect you via air or contact, please contact our studio so we can see how we can accommodate your needs.
Do I Need to Bring Food and Drinks to Share?
Nope! Unless you want to, of course. Each customer is responsible for his/her own drinks and nosh. We are BYOB (bring your own beverage and food).
Can I Take Left Over Alcohol Home?
Yes! As long as you brought in the alcohol originally, are 21 years and older, and have it in a closed container.
Can We Bring Decorations and Favors if We Are Celebrating?
We love decorations! Please bring whatever you'd like to decorate your space with. We do ask to be mindful of others around and their experience as well. If you have something specific, please contact the studio and perhaps we can set it up ahead of time for you.
