Pinot’s Palette Signs Franchise Agreement In San Francisco

Rapidly Growing Paint and Sip Franchise to Open First Studio on West Coast

HOUSTON, Dec. 3, 2012 /PRNewswire via COMTEX/ — Pinot’s Palette, a national Paint and Sip franchise known for providing guests with an entertaining evening of art and wine, announced today that it has signed a franchise agreement with San Ramon resident Fabiola Ortiz to open a studio in the East Bay area of San Francisco. The location is scheduled to open in Spring 2013 and will be the 13th studio for Pinot’s Palette nationwide.

“We are thrilled to open our first West Coast studio and to have Fabiola join the Pinot’s Palette family. Her experience as an entrepreneur, as well as her passion for art, makes her a perfect fit for our growing brand,” said Craig Ceccanti, chief executive officer, Pinot’s Palette. “We are confident that people in San Francisco will love our ‘Paint. Drink. Have Fun.’ experience as they awaken their inner artist.”

At Pinot’s Palette, guests sign up online to attend a two-hour or three-hour painting class where they are instructed by a local, trained artist on how to recreate the featured painting of the night. Pinot’s Palette provides art supplies, plates and wine glasses and guests are encouraged to bring their own wine and snacks. Franchisees have access to extensive painting libraries of artwork tested for all skill levels, as well as the ability to create their own paintings to respond to guests’ changing taste in artwork and local trends in their respective communities.

Fabiola Ortiz grew up in an entrepreneurial family and has a deep appreciation and understanding for art, events and business. She ran her own special events company and founded Inspire Kidz, a non-profit that helps foster children in the San Diego area attend preschool and after-school enrichment programs. She has also been an art docent for several private and public schools.

“I’m very excited to bring Pinot’s Palette to San Francisco. The concept allows me to make art accessible to people without art backgrounds,” Ortiz said. “The expert guidance from our local artists in a relaxed, fun environment will turn you into a Van Gogh in no time!”
