Pinot’s Palette Named to 2015 LSU 100 Winners

Co-founders and LSU alumns honored among fastest growing Tiger businesses

HOUSTON (Oct. 29, 2015) – Pinot’s Palette, the first international franchisor of paint and sip studios in North America, has been named by Louisiana State University to the 2015 LSU 100. The prestigious list, created by the school’s Stephenson Entrepreneurship Institute, annually honors the 100 fastest-growing LSU-owned or LSU-led businesses in the world.

“This is a fantastic milestone for us, and a huge tribute to what Pinot’s Palette has achieved and where it will continue to go from here,” said Craig Ceccanti (Class of ’03), co-founder and CEO of Pinot’s Palette.

“Over the years, Craig, my wife Beth (Class of ’02), and I have admired so many LSU 100 winners who came before us on this incredible list of national and international leaders,” said Charles Willis (Class of ’04), co-founder and president of Pinot’s Palette. “We are extremely honored to join their ranks as proud LSU graduates and successful business leaders.”

Ceccanti and The Willises were recognized with this year’s recipients at the 2015 LSU 100 Honoree Luncheon, held Oct. 23 at the L’Auberge Casino Hotel in Baton Rouge. Both men have also been active members on the LSU Houston Alumni Board, holding positions including Communications Chair, Website Chair, Special Events Chair, Vice President and President over the years.

Today, Pinot’s Palette is the fastest-growing paint and sip franchise in North America with 150 locations across 33 states and Canada, and new locations opening up every month.

Headquartered in Houston, Pinot’s Palette was co-founded in 2009 when Ceccanti and the Willises opened their first paint and sip studio to test their entrepreneurial business idea. The business took off, and so did interest from people who wanted to own and operate their own locations. The co-founders left their full-time corporate jobs to devote their time, money and energy to Pinot’s Palette. And soon the company began franchising the concept achieving record expansion.

Six years after opening its doors for the first time, Pinot’s Palette recently celebrated the booking of its one-millionth reservation. (subject to timing of one million press release)
