Food and Beverage Information

The Pinot’s Palette Bar has a wide variety of wine and locally brewed beer! There are always seasonal drink specials, and a large selection of non-alcoholic beverages and snacks. Colorado is not a BYOB state so all alcohol must be purchased in the studio. We can now offer To-Go Bottles of Wine and Beer too!

What are the Studio hours?

Private Parties and Special Events can be held any day of the week! Check out our Event Calendar for more information. https://www.pinotspalette.com/fortcollins/events. Studio Office hours are Wednesday - Friday 2 pm until 5 pm; Saturday noon - 9 pm, Sundays from noon - 4 pm, closed on Mondays, Tuesdays and major holidays. We have Open Studio painting during all Studio Office Hours!

What days are classes held?

Private Parties are held 24/7 as requested. Public classes are generally scheduled Tuesday through Sundays, with two shows on Saturday. View our class calendar to find out more! https://www.pinotspalette.com/fortcollins/events.

How do I sign up for a class?

Signing up is easy. Click the "Event Calendar" link on the top of the page to view our calendar of paintings. Select which painting you would like to paint and click the red "Register" button. Follow the on-screen directions to complete the order. Contact us if you have trouble completing your order and we will walk you through the process.

What does a class cost?

Most of the classes cost $35 to $45 per person depending on the painting being taught. Sunday Family Days at 10 am are $25. Pet Project is $55.

What do I need to bring to the class?

You do not need to bring anything! We provide the canvas, easel, brushes, paints, and apron for the class.

When do I need to arrive for class?

We recommend you arrive 20 minutes before class starts to allow time for you to get settled in and mingle before the painting starts.

Is there reserved seating?

Yes, we will have your easel set up for you when you arrive for class. If you have friends attending the class that you’d like to sit by, you can let us know when you book the class or you can send us an email. A 24 hour notice would be appreciated.

Is there an age limit for the normal public classes?

Everyone over 6 years old are welcome to all shows! We do have kid’s specific classes, but all ages are welcome to attend our public classes. We do suggest children under the age of 14 attend with an adult during our evening classes.

How do Take Home Paint Kit Classes Work?

Take Home Kits are $20 without brushes or $23 with brushes. Each kit includes a canvas, paints, brushes (if needed), and written instructions. Easels are available for purchase. Tote bags, tea trays, & wood pallets are also available. You can pick up your kit during Studio Office hours - Wednesday - Friday 2 pm until 5 pm; Saturday noon - 9 pm, Sundays from noon - 4 pm, closed on Mondays, Tuesdays and major holidays.

What is a Virtual Class & How do they work?

Virtual on demand classes are $30 without brushes or $35 with brushes. Once you purchase the kit from our SHOP https://www.pinotspalette.com/fortcollins/shop you can stop in the studio during studio hours to pick your kit up and we will email the link to the video class. Links are good need to be used within 7 days. Studio Office hours - Wednesday - Friday 2 pm until 5 pm; Saturday noon - 9 pm, , Sundays from noon - 4 pm, closed on Mondays, Tuesdays and major holidays.

Do you offer shipping or delivery options for Painting Kits?

Shipping is available in our Shop at https://www.pinotspalette.com/fortcollins/shop-item/25594 for in state or at https://www.pinotspalette.com/fortcollins/shop-item/25597 for out of state. Delivery is offered within a 10 mile radius with a minimum order.

What should I wear to the class?

No dress code here...dress casual or dress up. We will provide you with an apron but remember you will be working with paints or other medium that may not wash out of your clothing.

What is the cancellation policy?

We do not process refunds. If you cannot attend the class that you are registered for, we can reschedule your class to a new class within 30 days of the original event date, given the add-on was selected during purchase. You can purchase the add-on afterwards too, please reach out to fortcollins@pinotspalette.com so we can help you out. Only the amount paid will be transferred, coupons and other credits cannot be moved to another class. All credit requests must be made by email and approved by Pinot's Palette managers. The cancellation policy for Project Pet is 1 week before the class date to request to move your reservation. Reservations may only be moved once. This cancellation policy applies to all public, and off-site parties. Private Parties deposits will not be refunded if the party is cancelled or if you have less than 8 painters.

When does the next calendar get posted?

We are now posting classes 2 months in advance! If you'd like to receive an email each month when our new calendar is posted, be sure to add yourself to our email list.

Can I add a bottle of wine or beer to my On-Line To-Go order or Virtual Class reservation?

Absolutely! We are now allowed to offer alcoholic beverages TO GO! You can pay for wine when you pick up your painting kit. See the full menu at https://www.pinotspalette.com/fortcollins/blog/wine-entertaining/beer-wine-menu.

Where should I park?

The best place to park in Downtown Fort Collins would be in the Civic Center Parking Garage, just 1 block north of the studio at 120 North Mason St.

Can I bring food into the studio?

Yes! Outside food and catered food is welcome. We also have great snacks available for purchase at the bar.

How many people can fit in the studio?

We can host 48 in our main studio and up to 24 in our private party studio!

Can I rent space at Pinot's Palette to host my private event or meeting?

Yes you can! We rent space for all purposes. All room rentals come with a bartender, sound system and T.V. display!

Is it safe to come to a Pinot’s Palette class in the studio?

Yes, it is! We have been inspected and approved by Larimer County to open at a limited capacity. We can make special seating arrangements at each class to separate by family or group. There are hand sanitizing stations around the studio and in the bathrooms. All areas are sanitized on a regular basis during all shows and deep cleaning is done between shows.

I don’t have any artistic talent? Will I be able to complete the painting?

Absolutely! Our artist will guide you step-by-step through the featured painting and will ensure that you stay on track to completing your masterpiece by the end of class. There are no mistakes, but Acrylic paint dries quickly, making mistakes easy to fix and perfect.
