Winter Snow Cones

Thursday, December 7

7:00 - 9:00PM

Pine cones are the “flowers” of pine trees; there are both male and female. The male cones are near the bottom of the tree and the female cones hang at the top of the tree. The big, round pine cones that are hard and open are female pine cones. The oldest living tree is a pine/spruce in Dalarna Province, Sweden. Its' roots have been around for over 9,000 years (since the last ice age); when the tree dies (around 600 years) the roots grow a new seedling thus rejuvenating itself.

Jingle, jingle, jingle! Are you ready to mingle? Come paint this playful snowman on a warm and cozy sweatshirt. Make it extra special by adding some holiday decorations!
