How It Works
How To Book
Private events are booked by placing a refundable deposit to secure your desired date and time (after availability is confirmed by the studio).
Within 48 hours (business days) day after the event, if the minimum headcount was met. If the minimum headcount wasn't met, empty seats up to the minimum are deducted from the deposit. The remainder of the deposit will then be refunded, as applicable. Deposits may also be deducted from if the party starts or ends more than 30 minutes late ($75) and/or to cover damages to the studio.
Deposits do not cover registration costs. Hosts must register for their party. Registration creates a list of attendees for the artist to plan for, and it tells us if your party could use a second artist.
A private party may be canceled with deposit refunded, or rescheduled with full deposit applied, with at least 7 business days' notice (Monday-Friday) before the originally scheduled event date. Deposits can be rescheduled with at least 24 hours notice.
We want your event to be fun, organized and effortless. We provide you with all the supplies needed for a party, including our helpful artist(s) to host and guide your guests through the event. In addition to paint supplies, for your convenience we provide real glasses, ice buckets with ice on site, eating utensils, plates, napkins and filtered water.
Private Party Room
In-studio parties will have an entire room to themselves, with plenty of space for all guests. You may request the Wine Cellar for up to 24 guests or the Main Studio for up to 50 guests. If 2 events are scheduled at the same time, parties will be assigned to the room that best fits their needs.
Canvases, brushes, paints, palettes, aprons and anything else needed to finish a masterpiece. We also have a designated area to keep purses and coats.
Our instructors are professional artists themselves, and they are well-trained in making the painting process simple and enjoyable for painters of all skill levels. Everyone gets step-by-step instructions at a comfortable pace.
Ice, Ice Buckets, Water
Our studio is equipped with ice and ice buckets to make it easier to keep drinks and food at the right temperature. Filtered water is available for all guests. You'll also have counterspace for food or gifts.
We provide real glassware for all guests; stemmed white wine glasses, stemless red wine glasses and pint glasses. No need to go out and buy disposable cups!
We'll have a crowd-pleasing playlist ready for you. Or, you can tell us what sort of music you'd like for your event and we'll tailor a playlist to your needs. And don't worry – we make sure the music doesn't get in the way of hearing the artist's instructions.
Food And Drinks
We are a BYOB studio. The only beverage we provide is filtered water. You are welcome to bring ANY food or drinks that you and your guests would like to have!
Doors will open 1 hour before painting starts. This gives guests time to arrive, settle in and socialize, and gives the host time to set up food or other items for the party. Seating is based on registered guest, walk-ins are not allowed for private parties. All guests must paint unless chaperoning a kid's party (Age 13 an under).
Please provide the NAME of your painting in an e-mail or by phone. You can selected a painting before or after providing a deposit by following this link: https://www.pinotspalette.com/cordova/painting-library or click "Painting Library" under the Private Events tab at the top of the page.
You don't have to choose a painting in order to book an event, but the final selection must be confirmed with the studio at least 1 week before your event date unless special arrangements have been made with the studio.
