Valentine's Day Cocktail to Enjoy with Your Boo...even if your boo is your cat.
Valentine's Day is a great time to show your appreciation to your loved ones, whether it's your S.O. or your BFF. However, I think we should take a moment to remember the real hero of Valentine's Day: chocolate. Check out the recipe below for how to make a chocolate martini that'll have you in love in no time.
for the drink (serves one):
2 oz Chocolate Liquer
1 oz Vanilla Vodka
3 oz Half and Half
for the rim (optional):
1. Before you start bartending, chill your martini glass. Either leave the glass in the freezer for 3-4 hours OR fill the glass with crushed ice and water for 10-15 minutes. Make sure you dry the glass well before adding drink ingredients.
2. Pour chocolate syrup onto a small plate or shallow rimmed bowl, large enough to fit the lip of your martini glass. Swirl the glass upside down in the chocolate syrup until the lip is coated. Then, quickly roll the lip of the glass through red sprinkles spread out on a separate plate. The sprinkles should adhere to the chocolate syrup to give you a festive decorative rim.
3. In a cocktail shaker, combine drink ingredients and ice. Shake well and then strain into your prepared martini glass. Enjoy!
