Van Goghs White Roses
Sunday, April 8
1:00 - 4:00PM
You can’t get more classic than Van Gogh and white roses – intentional or not. Art History buffs explain, Van Gogh originally painted a very colorful bouquet with red and blue roses, but over time the roses faded to mostly white and pink. We bring you the latter version which our artist saw in real life at the MFAH when the paintings from the National Gallery in D.C. were touring the states. Our version of “White Roses” is painted in Van Gogh's classic impressionist style with thick, textured paint.
